EVO 2K13 Player's Choice: Donate money to breast cancer and get your favorite game in

I think the SF thing not getting figured out tonight is going to probably kill it's chances. Going to bed now, I'm calling this as a 90% chance Smash wins, and a 10% chance any other game wins through some crazy snipe or whatever. Without any crazy snipes only ST and SG are even close to being in the running to Smash, and I don't see either one overtaking Smash without some craziness.

Not going to happen but I would still love to see Brawl somehow win, I think that would ensure maximum salt and be the most random outside of maybe Melty.

Yeah, the ST shenanigans shifted funds away from SG for long enough to make it difficult for them and ST being in limbo is going to make people more hesitant to donate.

Things are looking good for Melee.

Would they really let it end with ST's donations in limbo like this? I would think they would wait for the ST thing to get sorted out and then give its supporters one more chance to donate.

You make it sound like any of that ST money would have come to Skullgirls in the first place.

Big mistake

I wonder if Sakurai or any of the higher ups at HAL or Nintendo are aware of this at all. I would really like to hear what their opinion on this is.

Just to confirm or deny or at least give an update on whether or not they really give a shit about their fans. Since it's obvious the Skullgirls devs care about their fans a great deal.

I can pretty much guarantee they have absolutely NO IDEA this is going on.

And I can pretty close to guarantee that they do not give a shit about fans that want Smash to be competitive.

Out of pure interest I wanna see brawl win. It will bring in a new community to evo and i'm very curious to see what kind of numbers the stream would bring. All in all this for a great cause and the more money gets thrown around the better.

The gap is widening, but to be honest it wouldn't surprise me either. If the first stream did 15, the second one can definitely kick in more...

Except now all the anti-Smash people are concentrating their effort on ST, and you are seeing what real support Skullgirls is getting.
