The joke is that SNESeses are notorious for going yellow after some time because of the nature of the plastic used. It's not golden - it's just old.

Oh is that what happens to the color over time? I had an NES, but skipped the SNES/Genesis generation so I didn't own one. Strange how none of my other off-white consoles turn into any shade of yellow over time.

It was the combination of plastics that oxidised in the earlier US SNES models, it made them go yellow. Later models fixed this.

There was a gif of almost the exact same thing happening from a few years ago. Tapped by the guy next to him, and the dude jumps up in a rage and yanks his shirt off.

It looked like they were eastern european in the previous one, maybe ripping your shirt off immediately after being touched is a cultural thing?
