Ubi may have plugged the hole by now, but as of the other day, you could add it your Uplay account for free (check the OP for the bat file particulars).
Like Uncharted with likable characters. I totally feel you on this, Steve.

What is going on in this thread?

WTF? Is that widely known? Seems like a rather large oversight on UBI's part.

Seems to work for Anno 2070 as well.
Is it possible that Valve added some of these just to troll people who look at the registry?
That said, I don't think I have ever played a Halo game aside from briefly Halo 3 or 4 multiplayer, and I like the idea/story/world design, so I will probably grab any and all that show up for PC barring some sort of stupid DRM.
Okay, now you're tempting me.
it's a 2d clunky platformer probably most comparable to something like prince of persia classic, only made for kids. i liked it. here's a review i did of it
Wait really?and with the fact that MS owns Twisted Pixel and announced a PC port for (Ms.) Splosion Man and one of these new game hubs is for Lococycle (Twisted Pixel's next game)...
Wait really?

NoSome of the stuff is definitely legit.
For example:
So he's turned ValveTestApp226600 into Octodad Dadliest Catch Beta, so we click through the link:
http://cdr.xpaw.ru/app/225140/
Under "Admin Comment":
Open the image there, which is clearly from Octodad, and you get:
http://media.steampowered.com/steam.../228644c08ff24439d54f40b19d746fd67eb0e498.jpg
Which is hosted on Steam.
Or take Halo 3
http://cdr.xpaw.ru/app/216800/
You can actually click through to see the Steam community hub for the game:
http://steamcommunity.com/app/216800/
Steam Community: Halo 3
So unless they're making community hubs for non-Steam content, something is clearly going on.
I'll add that MS just put out a job posting for a producer at MGS and one of the job responsibilities was to evaluate and execute release strategies for alternate markets (example: STEAM)... and with CAPCOM giving up GFWL... and with the fact that MS owns Twisted Pixel and announced a PC port for (Ms.) Splosion Man and one of these new game hubs is for Lococycle (Twisted Pixel's next game)...
NoHalf-Life 3Ricochet 2 hidden links or anything?
Bit.Trip Flux! Now my life is complete. Thank you based Gaijin!Ah, nice.
I spotted LibreOffice. And, yes, damn, Halo 1-2-3. On Steam?
Ok, first things first: remember the Amazon guy finally got that Microsoft Arcade Bundle approved so, who knows, right? Maybe it ends up being true. Still... Skepticism!
Uh, Angry Birds is in there too. Peter Jackson's King Kong. Anomaly Warzone Earth 2.
Well, god dammit, people, I'll spend the entire afternoon scanning this now! D:
edit: BIT.TRIP FLUX and FATE... Garage Inc.
Steam Wallet Trading = Half-Life 3
Quantum Conundrum 2 = Portal 3
Huh... http://cdr.xpaw.ru/app/222180/ Mushroom Men: Truffle Trouble? I thought they weren't going to do a sequel, due to how poor the first one did?
I'm picturing a conference room at Valve somewhere, and they're like "What's another good one, how about Mirror's Edge 2? Quick, put it in the registry!" and then everyone just cracks up.Gabe is probably sitting in his office laughing at us right now.
Oh fuck, imagine if what you are saying jokingly ends up being true. Nostradamus wouldn't hold a candle to you.Steam Wallet Trading = Half-Life 3

Gabe is probably sitting in his office playing DOTA2 on a TV the size of the wall laughing at us right now.

Oh please, I hope you're right.

Ah, it looks like it might be interesting. They announced Truffle Trouble at PAX last year
http://www.joystiq.com/2012/09/24/mushroom-men-return-in-paxs-truffle-trouble/
it's a puzzle game, so a little cheaper to dev probably
I love how they're just fucking us with those entries.
