I hate this stupidity. They act like Hitler tricked the German people into electing him, when in reality, he was clear about his nationalistic anti-jewish agenda for well over a decade before he was appointed (not elected) chancellor.

"If only the Jews had guns! But Hitler took away the guns and they couldn't stop the holocaust!" Yep. If only the Polish, Soviet, Hungarian, and various other East European Jews would have had guns. They would have stopped him. Furthermore, if the SA (a paralimitary group with over a million trained, disciplined armed soldiers) couldn't stop the SS, then how could untrained and unorganized civilians stop them? Ridiculous.
