Bacary Sagna + money for Sakho is a good deal so don't moan. It's funny that Capoue is being reported as our top french target but after the Germany game I am half hearted on that. Quality player in general though.

Hated that game but Fabregas... What dedication, love, passion and an absolute diamond of a player. Out of all the players Wenger has sold the Fabregas sale just really really hurts. Everytime I think I'm over it I'll see a video and be reminded that I'm not.
If he came back to the premier league for any club other than us I don't think I could take that. I doubt he would do that but you never know in this world.

The funniest part of that comment is what would Barca want with those players? Szczesny maybe if they want a young goalkeeper who could improve but the rest not a chance. Walcott too inconsistent, Rosicky way too old and plays in a position where Barca already have too many players and Kos is just not good enough. They would get the players only to need to invest their own time into trying to get rid of them.
Benteke is rumoured to have done exactly what I thought he would do want to quit Aston Villa at the end of the season regardless whether they stay up or not. Yes please Wenger go and get him. Him and Jovetic and we have something called depth!

He'd be stupid to leave at the end of the season if they stay up. He's at a club where he starts every week, and has the team's tactics designed to get the best out of him. I don't know who else could offer him that, certainly not in the Premier League. Norwich maybe? But why would you rather play for Norwich than Villa? And they wouldn't be able to afford him anyway. If he moves to a bigger club, he'll end up doing a Lukaku and wasting a year of his career and development. If Lukaku had moved somewhere other than Chelsea, he'd be more of a beast than he already is.

If its true then I question his timing as Villa are in a huge fight now to stay up and a fight that will be a struggle and he puts a knife in? Well that's an asshole thing to do. Certainly plenty of clubs where he would work. Newcastle would be a good option for him, Everton could use a striker as well since Benteke is better than their current strikers in my view. Villa as a club are in the shit, relegation battle last season, relegation battle again this season and I don't have faith Lambert knows what he's doing so moving on may be for the best for him but needs to be to a club where he would play so Arsenal, City, Chelsea and Utd are out.

With Cisse, I expect him to pick up soon. His inconsistency and lack of goals this season are primarily down to being played as a winger for much of the season or being played up front with Ba where that shit just doesn't work. It's a mirror situation to last year. Ba banged in goals for fun, we stick him on the wing so Cisse can play CF on his own and bam, Ba doesn't score again.
However, Cisse's played a fair few games now on his own without Ba and has only scored 2 or so when in this set-up so there's still kinks to be ironed out. Be it with his confidence or with the service around him - Ba never assisted so Cisse never got a look-in for the most part. Gutierrez doesn't know how to assist so Cisse never got a look-in, and so on.
I'm expecting shit to change up a bit now though due to the new signings. Sissoko only needed one top class through-ball and Cisse finished it off against Villa. I just hope this will become an ongoing thing now otherwise we may have to look at a new CF to replace Cisse in the starting lineup. With Benteke, I doubt he would want to be on the bench all the time and it's not like we're gonna be in Europe next week for him to take advantage of where starts are concerned.
