Amazon related question. I preordered Rayman Legends last week using a gift card and the remainder on card, if I cancel the order do I lose my credit and get back the cash or get it all back as credit? Also Amazon still hasn't changed the release date ( I'm clinging on to hope that Ubisoft will actually see sense and release it as originally intended..)

You shouldn't have been charged yet for the game (Amazon only charges when a game is ready to dispatch, and it's still several weeks before the game should have come out). So you should in principle still have all your money in your bank account/debit card or credit card that you used to pay for the game. Have you checked it's been taken?

You will get the credit back from the gift card almost instantly if you cancel the order.

Thanks for the help! Will cancel this in a bit. Phoned up Amazon and they said they hadn't heard anything about a delay and were still shipping Rayman on the 1st March, very odd.

So long as you haven't used the corresponding steam code before, you can use any humble bundle code on any steam account. They're not tied to any account until you claim them, I've given my sisters extra codes of humble bundle games I already own before.
 
Just about to order 999 from play-asia, but thinking of getting something extra to qualify for the free shipping. I want one of the 3DSXL frankensticks, but those don't qualify for free shipping either :(

I'm tempted just to order 2 copies of the game.

I got the AC double pack with Brotherhood and Revelations, and I noticed there is a Uplay code for Revelations but not for Brotherhood
Should there not be a code for it as well?

lol this is strange. Both cheapest sellers page says they ship to all of europe, but neither can't be processed because amazon says it can't dispatch to my location (which is finland)...

They don't say that they ship to all of Europe. Global Xpress ship to Europe Zone 1 and 2. Finland is Zone 3. And VGP only ship to UK.

What's funny/weird about the latter is that VGP is also a reseller on Amazon France, and there they only ship to France.

Maybe they are sitting in the warehouse and Amazon is just gonna 'accidentally' send them out...we can dream right?
 
So I bought a kinda cheap 2nd hand Radiant Historia from the amazon.es marketplace.
First, how are chances it's pirated? It's sold by "mangaland".
Second, the description said "jugado parcialmente (juego en ingles)". That means that it's been played partially and is in english, no? 'Cause the pic was from the JP version.

If you haven't got it, get Castlevania: Dawn of Sorrow soooo good =D and a quite a rare title as well.

I managed to find a new copy with the soundtrack for $25 on Ebay. Of course this was two years ago, but good offers come around every now and then.
The one with a shot of the packaging against a red background looks pretty good I'd say, 28 bux.

Alright GAF, I've bought a game from an amazon.co.uk seller and rather annoyingly I didn't look at their feedback first.

Many people are saying they send out french/german/italian versions of the games (including the hideous USK label). I sent a cancellation request, but they dispatched it an hour later.

Am I gonna have to go through the motions here and send it back (think they're based in Switzerland?!), or are they breaking some sort of law/rule by sending out Euro copies?
 
They can send out what they like as long as it works in your region really, you'll need to send it back.

I do think Amazon really need to make it clearer where third-party sellers are based and what exact version of a product they are selling, this is not information you should need to go hunting for and I don't think it's clearly stated on all profiles. I bought a PS3 component cable not so long ago before discovering it was coming from the US and I could've been liable for duty on it, it's easily done.

Just placed a Fire Emblem 3DS preorder with ShopTo.

Are these guys pretty robust these days? Will I get it on release day? I haven't used them since their early days of selling shady grey imports.

These days I don't think there's anybody better than ShopTo in terms of reliability.

If my experiences with ShopTo are typical, you'll likely get it the day before.

I would love to be able to filter out ALL third party resellers with a single button click. Especially the ones who do not ship internationally since they are just a giant waste of space and time.
