Lucky. I've got a huge dent in the front and 2 huge creases on the top flap. I think someone must have sat on it. Oh well, serves me right for trusting Zavvi a 3rd time after they screwed up both my MGS HD Collector's Editions. At least I won't feel bad about opening this copy.
 
they only willing to refund me %15 of the total cost
if i want full refund i'd send it back
as all of us, we all outside Europe, so the return costs gonna be bad T_T

I'm kind of worried about my Amazon.de order. It should have arrived on the 11th and when I check the DHL site it's only says the instructions have been sent electronically on the 31st of January. No other notes after that.

Anyone who got their Amazon.de order in Canada just get it without more detailed tracking info? Any custom charges?
 
luckily the item is fine with some little bends on the corners, but it's fine
i ordered 2 pieces as one for my friend, but it seems the customs opened one for check
i hate this process of unboxing multimedia items -__-

Just got my Amazon.de order. External box was a little dinged but the gamebox was fine.

I notice it says German text on the back of the game case, any reason to be concerned or is the German game confirmed to be English text and audio?

OH MY. That is the crappiest packaging I have ever seen by a company especially Amazon. Ebay sellers even package items better than that. Good lord!

that's why i hate the carrier i-parcel , but it's the only option out there for my address.

some time ago, i bought DQI-II on GBC, carried by USPS to i-parcel store, but i managed to return the item via USPS from i-parcel store, tho the seller gave back my money fully, he was upset cause the outer box of the game has some bends tho he fully package it.

if they can't keep the items safe in their warehouse, no wonder the package will arrive in that way as in pics
that doesn't mean that amazon is innocent, they should do a better job than this.

i'll consider myself lucky this time.

There were warnings in the thread when fishpond was linked here originally. I didn't have much faith in them after reading internet complaints on regular book orders. It was a long shot for sure. Maybe they did secure a few UK editions but it'll be a while until they ship, if ever. They even dinged me with AUS to CDN conversion when I cancelled so I actually lost a few bucks dealing with them.
 
As compensation for fucking up my Wizard's Eition pre-order from JULY, Zavvi have offered me £5 credit. I laughed. Hard.

Fuck Zavvi. I'll never use them again.
 
Huh, so they still have those strips on all disc packaging in Europe it seems.

Why did this vanish in the US? It made CDs and all much easier to open.
 
I just got the wand from the cat king, just wondering if I need to find all treasure chests in dungeons for a trophy? I saw some hidden ones in that dungeon.

My WE came in a couple days ago-- nearly a week before it's scheduled delivery. Hmm.

Anyway, everything's peachy and in order.
 
Been 3 weeks now and still no WE from amazon.de

They charged by CC then next day i get a message that there was an issue with stock and they will ship it on the week of 11th february still nothing .

Anyone ordered from Canada from them and still waiting ?

I'm from Toronto and I'm still waiting. Nothing mentioned on DHL.de except for the initial scan on the 31st of January. Amazon.de gave a February 11th delivery date.

It probably will. In any case it came up with an option to "redeem" or "cancel" for me, so I checked my Mite/Drongo and Griffy/Flutterby to make sure I could redeem them all before I went ahead with it.
 
Well today is the day that we are suppose to have our strategy guides shipped. That is, if your order was canceled by Digital River.
 
I'm sorry to hear that. Did you have any other source for a Wizard's Edition? I kinda knew in the back of my mind Fishpond was going to do something like that.

I had never even checked my email, and apparently I got on the 7th telling me ill be getting the SG.

We do apologise for the delay in your order. We appear to be having problems sourcing this item due to supplier stock information being incorrect.

We cannot guarantee that will be able to get this item, but we will continue trying to source from other suppliers."

Yeah. They're gonna find stock from another supplier. Right.

Page 60 is black for me and page 77 (I think) is white. I assumed it was somehow story related to the subtitles of the two iterations of the games (White Witch, Jet-Black Mage) but at the same time it looks like it could have been a factory defect.
