After seeing proper footage I think that game looks great but nothing current pc couldn't handle. I actually said this looks better than Crysis 3, I'm wrong.

VLC works. You need a pretty beefy rig and a fast HDD though.
People like this need to get it through their head. New hardware doesn't mean 60fps. You can do 60FPS on any fucking hardware.

Shadow Marshal's are the assassins of the KZ franchise. I don't think that we've seen one in the series since Luger in the original. They're the most important soldiers to the Vekta, so it wouldn't surprise me if they were given special suits to help out.

The parts shown in these trailers are polished then repolished then polished some more for months to look their best at these kinds of events.
In general you expect final games to look the same or worse than anything shown in an event like this. They can't put months of time and effort into every 5 minute section of the game like they do with sections meant for promotional materials.
The footage shown is good enough on its own, no need to add extra hype based on what ifs.
Problem is that there are hardly any PC games that really tax the system next gen style. Your assessment is pure speculation. I think only Crysis 3 could be called next gen on a PC. Everything else is just current gen with the graphics dial set slightly higher. We need games with higher polygon models, huge amounts of on screen characters, better texture work, better animation, bigger worlds, etc. We'll get those games at the end of the year. Only then will we know how next gen console games compare to the same game running on a PC.
Consoles will target 1080p 30fps because it allows for better visuals than 60fps. Visuals is what sells games, most casual gamers aren't even able to tell the difference between 30fps and 60fps. Next gen will be no different from this current gen in that respect.

Sure, but Killzone 2 was being built on hardware that was known to be notoriously difficult to utilise.
That's bullshit. Using a Ubisoft game as an example isn't really helping.
And it's GG. There was a big improvement between the KZ2 reveal and the final code.
This was my favorite part of the demo. All of the particles flying around and the shockwaves breaking up the ground? Freaking love that.
Developer choice, as it always is.
PS3 and X360 can both push out 1080 games but they have to scale the graphics back to do so. There have been studies done, and I think Insomniac commented on the fact that more FPS doesn't get your better reviews or sales. Graphics do.

Nah, you can definitely expect things like performance to improve in future events.
I'll be happy if the fidelity remains the same throughout the rest of the game.

Hopefully the unique gameplay features of Killzone 2/3 are kept in KZSF. This includes the head bobbing, weapon recoil, weight and that satisfying gunplay (in combination with enemy death animations) that the franchise is known for.

Take their COD games and slow it down to 30fps and I guarantee you they immediately feel the difference and say "the fuck is wrong with this game?". They wouldn't know the cause of the different feel, but they would be feeling and noticing the drop.
I want to explore that futuristic city in a flying car though, not another boring and primitive medieval fantasy town
