Or they don't want people hitting their servers for 40 gig a shot.
Oh well, I was kinda not wanting it digital as it was a 3D title and I heard 3D effects suffer when downloaded (like a VoD 3D title). Plus the file size for everything 3D on PSN is HUGE but I'll definitely get Bioshock for $50.

I love these things. I never have a hard time finding stuff to meet the quota because I tend not to buy everything as it releases. I love combining these with sales as well - icing on an already delicious cake.

I wouldn't say foolish. It takes a long time for most titles to go free, and it's possible whatever you're interested in will never do so. Rule is dont buy anything you won't play immediately unless it's on sale.

With PS3 games, there is NO difference in 3D quality whether it was downloaded or on a disc. The games aren't being streamed, they are just being played from your hard drive instead of a the blu ray.
Now on the PS4 what you are suggesting could be valid for Gaikai streamed games.

That's what I was thinking too. I have $50 in my wallet, so for me it's either another year of PS+ or games, since I can't get the money back. I'm going to wait until March to buy PS+, get the extra 3months and also the bonus $10.

The service might be. But, we still own the license to these games. Say you purchase Bioshock from PSN. I'm sure Sony will figure out a way for you to reclaim that game through Gakkai. If Sony utilizes Gakkai this whole debat becomes moot.

This is the perfect opportunity to get PS+ until 2015.

Knowing Sony though, the ability to re-utilize the stuff you bought from PSN for the PS4 won't be active until like 1 year after the PS4 gets released.
Honestly people, upgrade your HDD to 1 TB, and dl all the stuff in your download list that you want, yeesh.

Hmm, I almost forgot about Darkstalkers Resurrection. There's some good stuff which I'm interested in so $100 shouldn't be much of a problem when I still have money from Sony in my wallet.
I hope Okami HD can go on sale soon enough as I still have my PS2 copy so I'm not paying $20 for it.Yeah, I guess I'll have to keep playing these games on my PS3.
