What's the controls like on both SFxT and MvC? I can't remember which plays with 4 buttons and which plays with 6, and I hate using the triggers in fighting games on consoles if I'm not using a stick.

UMvC3 uses 4.. It's SFxT that uses all the buttons.

If you haven't checked out all the info in the OT yet, most English players are on Ship02. Also, if you're signing up for the first time, you should use the friend invite system and get reward badges both for yourself and the player you refer as you level up; the items you trade these badges in for can't be acquired any other way, and your referral link has to be set up before you make your first character!

I had noticed the choice of WA for March and considered playing along with my disc copy, but held off because I remembered a spot that I was unable to get past because of a disc read error I had years ago, which had stopped me from ever finishing the game.

Digital copy for free on my new Vita? Perfect excuse to finally go back and play it.

It's actually pretty competent so far, but I haven't played much yet. Really fleshed out story(lol) and the gameplay is pretty fun and action packed. The main enemies are just cannon fodder as you'd expect from a Musou-like title, but the bosses can provide a bit of a challenge!

What? It's like your arguing that there's a mass of people who'd go to a strip club for the drinks, if there weren't any strippers. By its very nature, it simply isn't the kind of game that could target everyone.

i've always made the argument that taking the effort to get any game for free is pretty much always worth it even if it only gives you 5 minutes of enjoyment

as for if it's worth spending time on, I am not sure, I never quite got around to playing it, and now I have to decide if I want to play that or Wild Arms Alter Code: F (the updated ps2 remake of the game)

GOD DAMN, YES. it's a fantastic RPG and what people should be most excited about with this news.
