Vita PSN Game & Service Thread | March 2013 | Carving an Independent niche

It's one of my least favourite games on the Vita; I would not make the same purchase again.
Co-op is the best thing about the game. But as I stated in an earlier post, the full version plays like the demo but with a few more guns/equipment and subtle environmental changes.
There was nothing that compelled me to continue to play the game other than to get the platinum.
But, it seems like I'm in the minority. I checked out the NeoGAF Vita review thread and Unit 13 has generally positive vibes.
Definitely not normal. I couldn't tell you what the problem is though, that's the first I hear of it.

I wish it was easier to get plants for your zen garden in Plants vs Zombies. I'm only missing two but I keep getting the same ones over and over again.

so I got to that bit on persona 4 golden (this is late game spoilers)
Such a great game. Story is a bit better in P3 but everything else is very much improved upon in this game.
you know when you choose whether to throw that guy in the TV or not. I had read not to just let him go as it ends the game. So despite something nagging me I throw him in the TV. Nanako dies...... game ends....... mmmmmm.
Read up on it. Oh so you cant throw him in the TV either. oops. I got the bad ending haha.
I kinda don't like it when a game gives you a short cut ending with no real hint there is a large part of the game left to play. Luckily we have the internet. However if I hadn't read the internet in the first place I would have prob got the actual ending anyway rather than get the idea in my head I had to throw him into the TV. Luckily they give you a save point not to long before.
Anyway. Reload. 10 mins of fast skipping. Do the long text bit to get to the "there is something we are missing stuff" and surprise surprise that guy wasn't actually the bad guy..... It was Adachi....again... not that surprised lol.
So anyway I'm in the TV chasing the now Cliche evil voice Adachi.
Once I beat him:
do I get some time to do more social link and stat building stuff? (so close to full stats and dinner challange)
is there yet another dungeon and yet a more powerful evil (im guessing yes as I don't think Adachi is the reason for the fog spilling over to the real world.
Where is Marie's dungeon I got the key for. Does it appear later (I'm on December the 5th I think)
I got some pretty decent personas now. I im lvl 65 and mainly using lvl 70 Thor, lvl 69 Loki and sometimes Kin-ki (for light and darkness attacks). 2 levels and I can get Trumperter as well (have all the personas needed to make him. Have lvl 8 s/link to go with him so should put him to about lvl 72 maybe.

Does the Vita version not have those packages you can buy that guarantee a certain chance (25/50/100%) of a unique plant? Expensive I know, but worth it if that's all you need.
Also, a quick tip if you don't already know it. make sure you have your chocolate bars at max at all times. Apparently they share a drop chance with plants, and if they're maxed you're guaranteed a plant.
Playing Gravity Rush. Just 2 hours in, but wow what an amazing game.
Thinking about buying some DLC to support the developers (got it with PS Plus). If it stays this strong till the end I might even buy the boxed game.
From what I have read, DLC seems to be below average, just some costumes and standart-gameplay missions.
But if you would get one, which one?

I bought and enjoyed them all. Was good DLC. Each one is like a mini story. plus you get a new constume and 2-3 challenges.
So yeah.... get them all like I did. Cant remember which was the best though? I thought the military one was kinda cool from what I remember but I think it was also the hardest?
It's been awhile since I've played, but I'm prettysure the military one was the most lengthiest one and give you the best value for your money.
If you enjoy the game and want it to last longer though you mayaswell buy them all, even if they are a bit on the short side.

I remember enjoying both of them, but I think GoS is broadly considered the better of the two. Haven't played them in so long, can't remember which is which to be honest.
Yeah, been known for a while. 30/4 for US, 1/5 for EU.
Actually, the game does tell you that the decisions you'll make that day will have a big influence on the ending.
- Yes, you get a full month.
- There's at least one other dungeon (Marie's), I'm only there and not done with the story yet, so maybe there's even more after that.
- You'll be able to go there in february. There's an event linked to it, you won't miss it if you maxed her social link.

I bought P4 when it came out on the PS2 and even got a sweet Persona 4 t-shirt with the preorder, but I never finished it because I got frustrated with one of the early boss battles. Now I powered through that on the Vita by just basically overleveling the shit out of my characters and I'm now in the crazy

It's a pretty damn amazing game, I finally understand the the insane metascore for it.

Yeah it tells you its important but thats not the same as saying "hay if you don't get something right there is a huge chunk of the game thats missing. Could simply mean someones fate is tied to what you say.
Its not really an issue because they give you a chance to save not long before it, just kinda feels like if you didn't research it on the net you might never realise what you missed if you make certain decisions. I also dont think the line you choose to continue is very well put
rather than "wait a minute" it should simply be "we are missing something here" which you can say later on. Wait a minute can be interpreted in different ways. However this is possibly just a translation issue.[/spoiler[
They are both pretty cheap so maybe just play them in order. I liked them both. GoS has a better QTE system as the buttons appear on the side of the screen in relation to there position (e.g. triangle appears at the top).
They are pretty similar in length (GoS might be slightly longer) and GoS is graphically better.
If you plan on getting them both then get CoO first so you play them in order I guess.
What boss did you have trouble with. I seem to recall the only boss that annoyed me so far was the one your going to face. Just has a really annoying spell combo you need to watch out for.
Game is fantastic though.
It has a really interesting combat system where its really not very hard apart from the odd boss) because of the weakness system. However it can flip on its had and work against you and wipe you out in a split second leaving you going "WTF just happened".
I kinda like it. Sort of lulls you into a false sense of security then BAM the enemy targets all your weaknesses then pulls of some annoying move that takes out your main character. Doesn't happen often so it catches you unawares when it does.

I just received my new 32GB card.
2 questions:
1) In order to move everything I have on my old 16GB to this new 32, how do I proceed?
2) If I move my memory card to another Ps Vita do I bring there everything or there is something that links the memory to the system? (I'm asking this because my friend, White Ps Vita owner, would like to swap its Vita with my black one, for me np).

Does anyone have any experience with downloading saves for PS1 games and getting it to work on a Vita?
I have an itch to play FFVIII but I don't have any end game saves on my PS3, only on PS2. I have a Vita and I've found a place to download save files (gameafaqs gasp) but I don't know if it would work just downloading it and tossing it on my Vita would work.
Anyone know/have any experience with it?

3 New Characters - Erika (Intermediate), Gloria (Expert - From OOB), Kat (Expert)
Plus numerous other changes including new on-line modes and game-play tweaks.
Still waiting for this to get updated on PSN, as the courses and characters are DLC... but the game itself now has all the place holders visible.

Connect your Vita to your PC/Laptop, transfer the data then put in your new card and restore the data back to your Vita.
