Is it like Custom Beat Battle Draglade on the DS? I loved that game...

If you did combos with a specific rhythm then you did more damage or it led to longer combos

Weren't some of the Def Jam games made by esteemed developer AKI? I remember playing some that were awesome, and another one where the background levels "split" as the match went on, that was quite disorienting and the game didn't feel nearly as good as the other Def Jam title.

Had no idea that there was a game called "Lil Jon's Crunk Golf"... though I think "Lil Jon's Skeet Shooting" would have been a more fitting game to make... off to Google, lol

Based on AKI, but most of the grunt work was done by EA Canada to get it up to snuff.

The splitting background Def Jam game you're thinking of is Icon, which was an unresponsive mess and killed the series.
