So, I take it the PC version is whats recommended?
Unless you're running a windows XP PC from 2004, PC is always recommended.

God I want that mahogany box so bad.
That's pretty cool. Haha.God. Dammit. So, I just typed the coordinates in Booker's case into Google Maps (40.7142N, 74.0064W)

I have some Steam credit to use, so that works.
Replaying BioShock right now, its been a long time.
Jesus, the atmosphere is second to none.

That was quick, they already updated the article and debunked it.
That article is half a year old.
What's the hacking mini-game for this one? I can see orders of Wii U fans pour in to say how much better it would be on the uPad.

Well there isnt any hacking per say, but you can let Liz, or at least she assists in doing so.pick locks for you
Are you sure about that? where was that confirmed?
I bet it was you who sent the anonymous tip to Destructoid
Can't wait for Infinite, dat hype.
Still doubting to go for PS3 (trophies!) or the PC version. I'll probably double dip anyway but for my first experience I'm doubting between the two. I hope at least the framerate in the PS3 version is stable enough and also I hope the PC version is a better piece of work than Bioshock 1 was.
The PC version is looking pretty damn solid.
No way it will be as bad as BioShock 1 was. Go back a page and there is a video on the PC version enhancements. I believe there was also an interview on IGN, of all places, on the PC version.
I've said this a few times before, but 2K makes over 20% of their annual revenue from the PC market now. We have systematically encouraged this type of treatment.
Getting a little OT here, but I expect this kind of treatment going forward. With the growth in the PC market the past few years and the upcoming consoles going x86/x64.

I still can't get B1 or B2 to run. Hopefully it is.
Getting it to run is only problem one, the mouse aim in Bio 1 is poop.

Windows 7? Bioshock had to be set to compatibility with Windows XP SP 2 or Vista to run on Windows 7 for me.
I never tried that. There's just a bunch of stuff with the PC version, like it has this horrible thing of enemies dying like clockwork men, I don't know if it's just key-framed at 30, and not interpolated for 60 on PC like Gearbox's Halo port or whatever, but it looks bad. I still think the 360 version is the one to play of Bio 1. Even more so now it has the previously PS3 exclusive DLC, that stuff was really good, and largely overlooked.I thought a controller plugged into a PC was ideal for Bio1. Left trigger guns, Right trigger plasmids (as far as I remember). Was much more intuitive than left click / right click for me. Even as someone who uses a mouse for most FPS's.

As a PC gamer, I find this to be most incorrect. Just as many multiplats are better on console than PC.Unless you're running a windows XP PC from 2004, PC is always recommended.
Been replaying bioshock 2. Story, atmosphere and characters are ok.
But gameplay is awesome. Every gun feels powerful and it's fun to use.
Same for every type of ammo and plasmid. They even made hacking and research
somewhat fun. Or at least not boring.
I really really hope they managed to do the same for infinite.

Oh yeah, I don't doubt the PC version of Infinite will be the one to play for anyone with a half decent PC. Bio 1 is an unfortunate rarity, and it was still when the console ports were often spotty. Infinite should be glorious.Don't forget that Bio1 came out on some Franken-Engine (I remember people were calling it Unreal Engine 2.5). Surely BI will benefit from using the (now) established UE3. Even DmC runs great on PC; so I'd be surprised if BI suffered from the same issues as Bio1.
I'm very interested in the Heavy Hitters, are they boss battles or regular enemies?
