Yeah, some of the MH elite are snobs. You'll encounter people saying that the city is "theirs" and that they won't let you go on a quest unless you have/do this or that. But then again, all games will have these bitches.

Faster loading if you go digital, disc is also pretty fast though, it's like 2 to 1 second.

Lol, I can be like that, too, especially when I'm grinding for something. If I'm going for some Alatreon Webbing, the last thing I need to deal with is someone named "slayer" (lowercase "s") with his Rathian armor and Guan Dao.

In other news, I think my main weapons will be Swax, GL, Bow (online only), Hammer (because breaking faces is always good), and SnS (since it was my bread and butter in Tri). My Switch Axe is just too fun to give up, and the Gunlance seems interesting, although I still kinda suck at it.

I'm not 100%, because the demo is my first time with it, but if you see the line, it's because you're holding R, and obviously you're also holding X because you charged the draw. I think when the line turns red, its indicating that you can do the arrow hail attack (not what its called officially). So you're sitting there with R + X held in, you can either release X to fire normally, or press A to shoot up into the air at a high arc, which rains down many shots in the circle of effect that is shown on the ground. The latter is really cool looking, and also does exhaust/KO damage. In other words, do it as much as possible. Although, I know nothing about how that affects team mates.

Three levels of charge if you count the time before the first flash as LV1. Some bows have four levels of charge.

I wonder how much of a mess the Monster Hunter Miiverse is going to become when the game finally launches. I'm expecting a good deal of post from frustrated players about the lack of lock on and no monster health bars. Telling people to have patience, go slow, and actually learn the game might become the norm for a while.

I'm glad that Capcom seemingly is pushing the game. Even if it's just online. They have a serious chance here of making this work. They really should have though made more of an effort to put out detail tutorial videos on their youtube channel. I'm glad they were doing the streams but in the end I found them to be horrible and not informative. Not how a purposeful tutorial video with just one person talking and explaining their actions. Not simply showing off a boss fight.

Its great isn't it. I wish wyvern fire on bowguns worked the same way. The only problem I have is when I'm standing there, weapon drawn, and I see a long range unblockable attack coming my way. My gut instinct is to mash the stick to a side and hit B, which most of the time makes me hop right back into the line of fire. Gotta work on that I guess.
