Today's episode was alright, but it makes me MAD because of reasons.
FUCK YOU CARS DON'T STAB my waifu LISA LISA LIKE THAT SHE BARELY GOT TO DO ANYTHING

If anyone's wondering where exactly it ended, well, let's just say that the ending left us hanging if you know what I mean.

Anyone interested in a behind the scenes of the cg openings?

I saw this link in the main anime community thread and a couple of the pictures in the "how we made the classic Jonathan pose" section felt like they worked as desktop BGs. Thought it might be worth it to crosspost them here too.

I'm sure someone elsewhere has made nice vector art of them, so the originals can be expanded for whatever resolution without getting blurry, but this will have to do for now.

They finally did a good transition into Roundabout after who knows how many fucking episodes. Some of the segues had been done lazily lately.

LOL What a contrast in this episode, Prideful Wham at first half, and super douchey Kars at 2nd half, btw this episode far uglier than eps 22 yuck.. there's one super fabulous Cars still though.

And can't wait for DTL Lisa-Lisa trashing, my body is not ready.. I must agree, Erina more useful than her though lol

Episode 23 was great, always nice to see Stroheim. Plus I really love Wham, such a great character. Kars as well!

Ah, what am I saying? Most JoJo characters are awesome.

Cars has such pretty hair~

What a piece of shit though lol. Didn't expect that. Nice "twist" at the end...though it was really obvious.

That was probably the best segue into Roundabout in the series IMO.

Loved the transition to Roundabout this week. Also, it's weird I completely forgot everything about the Cars fight except for the absolute end of it lol

Oh, right! Wouldn't be surprised if that's revisited later. I've only followed the anime, but foreshadowing from a previous episode makes me think that
Lisa Lisa will die and that could be a scene where her significance to Jojo is revealed to him, if I'm not as confused as you are.

Seeing how things might be headed after episode 23, what I guessed might happen next episode.

I think I prefer Cars to Dio. He's pretty awesome.

Zeppeli's Roundabout transition was awesome, but so was this week's episode too. Both had great transitions that can't be beat, IMO. If I had to pick though, I'd say this week's episode did a better job of it, mainly because of the tension/revelation.

Great episode as usual. Cars is so ruthless.

23

First half was an excellent conclusion to one of the more memorable fights tying in the values that really make fights stand out to me, victory, respect for both parties, friendship and fighting for your friends that still live on and empower the character to do the unexpected making a way out of no way, and just camaraderie. Fortunately it stood out so well that I could easily overlook how terrible and awful the rest of the episode got.
Massively disappointed in how atrocious and terrible Lisa Lisa was. The only good thing was the epic muffler action but even that how could she not use it in a competent manner. Why did she have to put on such a terrible show in a cast of elite superstars like Caesar and Joseph. At least they were able to find ways to strike back. What did she do? Fall over and cry and weep and beg while falling to doom at the mercy of relying on Joseph, couldnt she do something, anything? We endured so many episodes with her for her to turn out this way that it almost felt as if she just has no necessity in this anime than just consistently failing to guard the stone (her second time losing it). I never understand why terrible characters are thrust upon us like that. Additionally, was almost hyped for Caesar to return when Smokey, and everyone else randomly arrived on this evening, but I guess, he cant return in the anime :( Ill never forget but his bandanna...

Zeppeli's transition was what actually made me notice Roundabout. (I had never heard the song before and pretty much never bothered to watch the endings.)

No one can top episode 1 Dio. Such a bastard.

It's kind of depressing how insignificant the vampires are at this point.

I'm remembering the sheer power of the guy Dio put the mask on in episode 2, and I see Joseph brawling with a whole bunch of them in spite of any of them by all rights being able to punch his torso off. Then a bunch of nazis and scientists with UV lamps manage to kill them all with no problem.

I don't see how the UV lamps are a problem. They use technology to overcome them, that's all.

I actually found the end scenes to be kinda funny. The engineers being right up in the vampire's faces, shining bright lights at them. Looks kinda silly, haha.

I've got conflicting sources tho - did Straits really went off the rocker due to his obsession with his youthful looks or was he secretly testing Jojo?

Science!

I'm not expecting to see body-freezing or Space Ripper Stingy Eyes, but their strength is supposed to be monstrous.

Most of these vampires were pretty green so I doubt they had time to explore the limit of their powers. Even Dio needed time to adjust, and no way can an average thug put more dedication into becoming strong than Dio.

I'm really hope this series continues on adapting part 3 and the rest. I have completely fallen in love with the fabulousness that is JoJo and am definitely going to start reading part 3 after this anime series ends.

Part 5 would be great to see. Maybe putting it to motion will cause it to make some more sense. Some of the abilities are just confusing.

So what the chance eps 26 actually an full Stardust Crusader episode as cruel cliffhanger?

I can't see they drag the rest of Battle Tendency more than 2 episode.

I can't see any reason there'd be a Full Stardust Crusaders episode for 26, especially when a Part 3 adaptation hasn't been officially announced yet.
