Vita PSN Game & Service Thread | March 2013 | Carving an Independent niche

It's quite the looker, especially if you haven't played the PS3 version. I only wish I could adjust screen settings like NGS+ though, since the colors are a bit too muted for my liking.

Yeah I haven't played the PS3 version. I haven't played much DoA at all really. I got destroyed on my first match and it was on the easy difficulty lol.

Those new HSG courses are kind of a bummer. There is not much to do with them except free stroke mode. I was hoping for some new career-style challenges.

any of this worth getting for the Vita?

thinking of those in Bold..

I really hope a Capcom sale happens in the EU soon, been wanting to buy SFA3M, PowerStone, and Darkstalkers but waiting for them to drop to half price.
Would probably buy those collections too if they were cheap enough.

Really considering Monster Hunter

Is there still a community playing this game? If not, how much of the experience do I lose playing by myself?

p3p is better than the first 2 but p4g is better than ALL OF THEM.

I just bought Powerstone but I'm downloading Tekken 6 right now so I'll let you know what I think later.

Monster Hunter has a huge fan base but it's not really my thing. Watch some youtube videos and see if it interests you first.

I don't really know anything about Ultimate Ghosts ‘N Goblins.

BUY P4G!!1

Interested in Totori...I was going to try DoA, but the demo is massive. What's the framerate?

If I get either, that will put me over $50 for this month.

P2: IS/EP is the best in the series. Get IS on sale and get EP. IS has a lower encounter rate, so when you reach EP expect the encounter rate to spike.

P1 isn't worth the time, it's aged REALLY badly.

P3P isn't worth the time when P3:FES is out there.

Get Street Alpha 3 Max/Upper.

Can't you play those online?

Okay, between Compile Heart news, Neptunia and Totori Surprise I officially rename PS Vita the MoeVita. Thank you, good night and good luck.

any recommended accessories?
or just standard case and whatnot from Amazon?

Grar, Totori or DoA?
Still can't decide. :/

I own and recommend those in bold.
The only one I haven't tried is Power Stone, but I hear it's good -- I don't have the nostalgia for it because I didn't have a Dreamcast.
The Classics collections look good and play good... the only question is "do you like the games on them?" (I do. Especially Strider.)
If you like GnG games, buy UGnG.
If you like Capcom fighters, buy Darkstalkers (this is what they should have used for Resurrection... I want Donovan in DS3!) and SFA3Max.
I do not recomend MHFU unless you like MH games. I bought it for $10, tried all of the weapon tutorials and I don't think I'll ever play it again. MH is not a franchise for me.

I decided I'm just going to download the PS All Star stuff, and the Capcom collections. $5 each is pretty damn cool, and I love me some retro gaming on the go. I may download the Nun game as well.

I bought Powerstone Collection a few months back, and it's pretty cool. I never played the games before. I imagine it would be more fun playing with other people, however.

I'm gonna give Darkstalkers a try, since I hear it's a port of the dreamcast version (which was called Vampire Chronicle for Matching Service unless I'm mistaken). If I like, I'll eventually buy the PSN release in the hope that they can make a new title.

DOA is 60fps silky smooth! Really impressive port and worth the money if portability is important to you.

DOA is great. Someone sell me on Totori!

A deep, relaxing RPG based more around item creation and gathering (alchemy) coupled with in-depth character interaction with a large and varied cast than intense battle mechanics. Based in a world free of epic world ending struggles, and instead is about the smaller, personal journey of a young girl in search for her mother. Filled to the brim with charm, laughs and a dash of yuri. I bought this the around the same time I got Skyrim, and was much more invested in the world of Totori than that of Skyrim.

Both are from the same company anyway. IMO get Totori now wait for physical sale for DoA.

Sounds good to me.
Maybe I'll pick up DoA as well instead of MH Tri U.

I'm having a tough time choosing Ultimate Ghosts 'n Goblins or Rocketbirds Vita. Which one you guys think I should get first? I'm hoping to get a PSN cash card sometime this week.
