Huh, a new Vanessa Hudgens movie but no new candid/nude shots of her 'accidentally' leaked before release.

I, for one, am shocked and appalled by this development.

Anyway, it looks somewhat decent. Is the brunette missing in most of the trailer intentional? Seems to focus on her at first, but then she's hardly in any of the later footage? It's just Franco and the other three girls.
 
this ot didn't even mention that gucci mane is in this.

gummo was a piece of shit. i'm only watching this for riff raff, gucci mane and some girls.
 
This flick amazingly enough is generating solid review scores on both Rotten Tomatoes and Metacritic.
Definitely boasts cult classic potential.

I wouldn't bother. I live Park's past work, but this is extremely by the numbers and lacking in his special touch. He played it far too safe and as a result, the movie feels dull, lacks tension, it's a disappointment on all fronts.

some beautiful cinematography and the soundtrack is pretty decent, but the movie itself? Nah, wait for it to show up on netflix, etc.

Just got back from the midnight screening and overall I really enjoyed the movie.

James Franco was brilliant as a Riff Raff impersonator, he really plays the character through and through. The girls played their parts well and looked mighty fine doing so. There were some well shot scenes, and I really dug the dreamlike feel this movie had going. It really fit the tone of the film, especially the middle and last acts.

I haven't seen much of Korine's work, but Spring Breakers is enough for me to keep an eye on his future projects.

There was a good mix of guys and girls at my screening. A lot of people there expected a Project X type movie, but what they got had a bit more depth than what they were led to believe.

Serious question, was the character always high? I can't imagine Franco selling a role that doesn't have him constantly high. It's why his best work was done in Pineapple Express.

He was always smoking something lol. anyway this was the best I've ever seen James Franco. He totally knocked it out of the park. I was just captivated by his performance in this movie.
 
The cast is obviously hot, but I don't rate Korine at all. I think he's a hack, I just don't get the appeal, apart from the "woah, this guy is nuts" thing.

Kids was the only half decent thing he's been involved with IMO, and he didn't even direct that.

Meh, I'll check it out, but I'm preparing myself for empty titillation and clumsily delivered shock value.
 
Watched this movie two weeks ago at some early screening event where you don't know in advance which movie will be shown. It's utter crap. I've never seen that many people leave during a movie in cinema.
