I wouldn't be surprised if we got Fez at all. And it seems Terraria may get an announcement next week which would be pretty awesome!

Yeah it looks like a Pixel Junk game at the moment.

I've got the original game on my phone now anyway, works ok on the Note II (nice big screen like the Vita has). Still looking forward to trying out this though, anything by the same guys.

As a new-comer to the series, I have to say that it is polished and very charming. The visuals look great due to the IQ (native res and AA!) and the music fits the theme of the game well. I can't speak on the quality of the English dub, as I switched to Japanese immediately. :b
The gameplay revolves around interactions with the characters and crafting items more then combat, but everything that is there works well. Whether or not the game will start getting repetitive remains to be seen, as I just finished the introductory sequence.

As for EDF, it's basically a portable B-movie, in both production values and premise. Very cheesy, campy, and fun. Especially with friends.

Sweet, thanks that helps alot. I've played EDF on consoles so I know what to expect there, thats why I have a hard time swallowing anything more then $20 for it.

I am going into the Atelier series fresh and new though. I've wanted to play pretty much all of them on ps3 but backlog/etc could never pull the plug. Like most games though Vita gives me a bigger chance to play games I otherwise wouldn't get around to. The positive impressions and quality i'm hearing back is excellent to hear. Can't wait till friday.

Too demanding. If you aren't picked, you have to be there for at least 6 hrs. I'd honestly play some Persona or download a couple of quick games like Stardust or Dokuro. Maybe take a fighting game since they'll probably have wifi. Hope you don't get picked. Worst 7 days I ever spent.

I have P4G on order, a $50 PSN card, and 3 month of PS+. I got the 16GB card from BB for $30.

I can't wait to start playing something!!!

I'd love to be able to play other games as there are quite a few I feel like playing...but nothing can take me away from PSASBR at the moment, loving how OP Zeus feels in medium-close combat. Isaac is hella fun as well.

@jedimike - welcome! And yes pretty sure you can start downloading if it is available in your region. Take care setting up your PSN if you haven't already as it's unlikely you'll be able to change it.

Mostly play Xbox... but I bought the Vita for something different. Some of my favorite games are XBLA games. I love the Trials games. Most of my gaming needs to be quick in, quick out but I'm not afraid of diving in to something like Uncharted. And I do like FPS's.

Welcome! I assume you like RPGs, then you should buy Persona 3 and play it FIRST... it's a great game, better story than P4G in my opinion, but overall P4G it's a better game. Besides, this week it has a discount...

And considering you have PS Plus, you'll enjoy great games: Uncharted, Gravity Rush and Disgaea 3 for starting. You'll have for months... believe me.

There's a poor mans trials on the vita, Urban Trial Freestyle.

If you don't mind asian pop/techno, DJMAX technika tune is one of the best music rhythm games out there.

Oddworld Stranger's Wrath has been getting a lot of praise in this thread.

If you like Trials, then give Urban Trial Freestyle a chance (10 bucks)... and DON'T BUY the Call of Duty Vita version... it sucks. You should wait for Killzone. And if you want, try the demo of Unit 13 for now...

Thanks... I'll give it a shot. I've been lurking the thread for quite some time as I mulled over my decision so I have a pretty good understanding of which games are worthy. It's the logistics that I have to find out... things like where to redeem my point cards (couldn't find on site)

You should like Urban Trials Freestyle. It's not as good as Trials, but it's good. There aren't any good FPS's yet but Killzone's coming up, and right now Unit 13 is a great TPS with a quick in quick out mission structure. There's all kinds of great games for you to play honestly. Give the web store a glance and check them out.

It's great that you got PS+. There's a bunch of awesome games you'll already have!

That's not quite the Vita's strength. Hopefully Killzone in 6 months will change that.

Though most PSP FPSs used the face buttons to aim, so when played on the vita you can map the face buttons to the right stick.

So hey, WRC 3: FIA World Rally Championship! I'm enjoying it a fair bit. I mean, I haven't played a rally game since like... V-Rally and Top Gear Rally, so for all I know it might actually be terrible, but whatever! It's fun just dicking around and rolling the car to navigate a simple corner. Also I think I got a trophy for trying to kill the people in the crowd.

The cartridge itself is absolutely incredible though. So much detail!

I would say it's worth the $6 if you have PS+
I really like how the "view" changes as you tilt your Vita around, creating a kind of pseudo 3D effect.

I'm not feeling the gameplay much, there's alot of moving back and forth. but the story is pretty interesting (it's not some mega omg brain psyching story.. but it gets you interested somewhat)
