Most definitely, that's what I'm excited for. I hope there's potential to wait on missions and tackle them at any point. Increasing/decreasing difficulty accordingly.

Indeed. I saw something really similar used in Wall-e. There is a doc in the extras of the bluray that explains some of the challenges they had to tackle and some of the techniques they used in that CG Movie.

But this is made to work in real time, really impressive.
