According to my Kindle I'm 31% through Storm of Swords and this season is only supposed to be half of that book so I'm good to start watching tonight and staying behind my reading, right? .......

They're taking a few things from books 4 and 5 and putting them into season 3, so in watching season 3, you might have a few things spoiled for you from the future books.

Just a few hours left, can't wait!

I watched season 2 with a few good friends (their first time) and season 1 with my neighbor over the course of the last 3 weeks.

Lol, I mistakenly posted in the regular OT for Game of Thrones. Did a double take when I saw the thread title for this one. This'll definitely be the thread I'll be following.

Can't wait to watch the show tonight. Will tune in after the Walking Dead finale.
Let this be a lesson for the rest of you.

Bookmark this thread and don't click on anything in OT that has "Game of Thrones" in it.

You will regret it. Our thread is full of whiners making their case through spoilers. Fortunately cobra dodged a bullet. Being someone who was spoiled on this book/season, I really am concerned about keeping you guys delightfully ignorant.

Didn't this thread used to have 8 pages of posts or something? Maybe I am confusing it with an off-season thread?

Some moron spoiled something big from the books for me on YouTube while I was watching the season 3 trailer.

Some people in the other GoT thread asked me to pm them and they sort of said it may or may not happen and that I shouldn't worry too much about it.

But it sucks because now I'll be watching season 3 thinking it'll happen or whatever.

This thread is only for the show right? But here's the problem, if we want to talk about potential show stories, what if some people who've read the books pretend like they're just guessing but know the truth?

Hopefully someone who has read the books lurks and calls them out. Reading any thread on GoT will put you at risk for seeing spoilers.

With that being said, I'm hype as fuck right now.

That's the reason i don't read the comments when i watch anything GoT related on youtube.

I hope to God that cunt Joffrey dies. Cersei's kind of a bitch to Sansa too, she should have left with the hound. Does Tyrion have that scar for the whole season? As long as he doesn't die, I'll be happy. I also can't wait to see how he, Jamie and Cersei act when they are reunited at King's landing.

Does Tyrion's father Lord Tywin know Cersei tried to have Tyrion killed and would he even care if he found out? Jamie loves him, so I guess he'd care. I also want to see what happens to Jon Snow and the Whitealkers and wildlings beyond the wall.

That white walker from the season finale of Season 2, was that Benjen Stark? The hair, it looked just like him...

I am so pumped just 10 more minutes, I can't wait!

Just found out the free weekend everyone has been talking about doesn't apply to Uverse and our HBO subscription seems to have ran out. *frenetic cursing*

Nothing too big went on but fantastic to have it back.

As for the episode:

I'm glad that Davos didn't die but seems Stannis is going to have him killed anyways

And on another note I just get angry any time I see Joffrey on screen.

Good first ep. So glad to have it back.

Unbelievable that my hate for Joffery is still palpable even after a whole year.
