someone on stream said he actually lost to chaotic flame xfc chaotic flame when doom got called out iirc, not to shuma[...]
We all know the real problem is Hidden Missiles. You have to pick Shuma to come close to a counter to it... which explains why Angelic was the first person in god knows how long to 3-0 ChrisG.
i would love for shuma to be able to do that to morridoom though
I think he was talking about Shuma's Mystic Ray assist, which sweeps the screen and will destroy the hidden missles (regardless of their position).
I was excited to hear that Angelic won, but now that I'm thinking about it, he has a pretty solid team to fight Morridoom
He has:
- Wolverine for opening gambits and pressure for a strong early start
- Dormammu to give Morrigan some trouble and has Chaotic Flame to murder assists
- Shuma for his great assist, usable hyper combos, and has relatively unexplored gimmicks (most people are still unfamiliar with him)
It's a team with many viable chances to X-Factor when its best for you, not just to save yourself from getting ocv'd (or whatever).
When fighting Chris G, how important is it to force him to burn X-Factor earlier than Vergil?
How important is it to chip out/kill Morrigan before she can land into her Shadow Servant hyper -> DHC?
Unrelated: Is Fanatiq a scumbag for going past the commentary station when he clearly had many other options to leave the venue? I wasn't looking for a smirk, but it seemed that he flashed his t-shirt logo intentionally toward the camera.
