Referrals updated, all of mine still pending, and this Brandon guy has 149 referrals.

Probably works at retail or something.

I'm in 77th place with only two referrals.

Edit: For the top of the page I'd recommend... Machinarium! Great little game that looks wonderful on Vita.

I actually am working on my PSP collection now. We have two shops here that have a pretty amazing, revolving collection of used PSP. I'm torn because some of the games, I want to buy digitally for dat Vita filtering, OLED, and control setting. On the other end, I like physical games and am slowly turning into a game hoarder.

lol,yeah..well I didn't liked the PSP (that stick was awful) and playing PSP games on Vita is like night and day thanks to the real sticks and shape,it's really the superior and only way to play PSP games.

sadly I can't replace my UMD because there are many missing games Megaman powered up,Monster Kingdom: Jewel Summoner,Metal Gear Acid,Birth by Sleep..ect

I wish Sony publish these missing games by itself like what they did with many of PSone games.

any gaffer here got more than 2?

I know this is silly and irrational, but even though I don't have any games for the thing yet, I feel like the Vita is going to be one of my favorite handhelds ever. Admittedly, most of my first purchases are going to be PSX and PSP games, but whatevs, many of my favorite GBA games are Gameboy games and SNES ports, lol.

My memory card should arrive in the mail tomorrow. Can't waittttt. :-D

well when I was young I felt my Megadrive will be great when I saw that box,and I didn't get anything on it for few days because we were kinda poor.

anyway buy Gurumin: A Monstrous Adventure(PSP) when you get your memory card,it's a fantastic action RPG.

Ugh. I didn't want to dive in, but I might. I'm constantly either visiting my girlfriend, on a bus, or between classes waiting. The Vita seems like it would be perfect. I had a 3DS, but no trophies and my hand getting really cramped playing it really sealed the deal for me to sell it.

I never owned a PSP either, and love jRPGs. Are there any deals/sales/whatever coming up soon? If not, where should I grab one?

Keep an eye on the Buy/Sell thread here in Gaming Community too, usually great deals on Vitas in there a few times a month from fellow members.

I got a my Vita 3G First Edition Bundle with an extra carrying case and 32GB card for 200 bucks shipped. And that was my first purchase ever through that thread, with 0 feedback. Great deal!

Anybody who's interested in a used Vita at this point may as well pick up the nice looking one.

Sorry Nerdstick, but white Vita look like a Fisher Price toy.

it really just look "off" to me like a Chinese clone vita like this one or something like that.

Yeah, the white looks a lot better in pictures, but the combination of white with the silver plastic band and gray analog sticks looks really cheap in person.

Black all the way

What is this referral thing mentioned within the last few posts? I checked the OP and saw nothing, is this a US only thing?

Just wanted to say that this site called http://www.uniqueskins.com/ allows you to actually custom design your skin for you're PSV. I actually made one already and I am just waiting for it to be shipped. Once I get it I will post some pics but for now here's the design.

It was a contest Sony had a couple months ago. If you were invited to the program by Sony you could refer people to buy a new vita, if the person accepted your referral and bought a new vita then registered it at the referral site, you and the person who referred you got a $20 psn card. It was for U. S. only.

Another 5hrs for Hard. Took me 15hrs total to platinum.

good for trophy fans I guess(TheSeks).

It's really bugs me but it's been a long time since I played a fun metroidvania (Order of Ecclesia was the last one I really enjoyed) so I know that I'll bite here even when the game is short..I can't help it,I just want my fix.

Unfortunate, honestly. Do you feel incentive or reason to replay it? I would assume no since you already 100%'d it.

for non trophy fans this game will be a very hard sell at $15

5 hours on HARD is not good really.

I'm getting it when Sony give me my $10 back so I can get it for $5.

Eh. $1 an hour ain't bad.

Pity about the mask though!

just get one if you want a mask so bad.

^ I like this one.

I received my baby yesterday but still haven't opened it yet. I don't have a pouch, a screen protector, anything, so I'm a bit nervous.

Speaking of accessories, what's the VitaGAF input on the Vita assist grip from Datel?

A friend of mine told me to insta-buy this shit for better comfort. I'm 6'4 and got pretty big hands so would you advise for it or it's useless?

I use the PDP trigger grips and they make it way more comfy to use. A grip of some sort is recommended I think.

These things have to be small to be portable but its hard to play for long periods without a grip. I find it that way anyway. With a grip I can play for as long as I want.

Grips are great, but I bet the one you posted isn't much cheaper than the Nyko and the Nyko doubles as an extra battery too.

I wish Sony release official grips for the Vita with extra R2 & L2 triggers and enable HDMI output. After all the ugly CCP for 3DS added some benefits of 3 buttons in addition to the circle pad.

Man, it will be perfect for
PSone emulator + PS4 remote play+ Gaikai Services + Vita TvPlay.

The problem is that if you release something like that that adds addition functionality hardly anyone will take advantage of it because only a small % of the user base would buy it.

Its not like the CPP is hugely popular or many games take advantage of it.

Yeah, future native vita games will hardly utilize them if the implementation of such addon was per game specific and takes some resources from the game's cpu time, which is the likely case. But it can be implemented from the OS level -I mean handled by the cpu core & memory allocated for the OS- where you can map the button manually as you like just like the PSP & PSone emulators. In theory any game can support it this way.

In case of PS4 remoteplay, supporting the addon could be included in the submission as an option -as we heard Sony will ask devs to submit Vita button mapping.

I guess in thoery you could just make a grip with 2 more triggers that touch the back touch pad where the standard virtual equivalent will be. make them work like a stylus where it has some metal to transfer your fingers electical charge or something. That way you can easily do the same thing without the grip so its standard.

I really hope the ps4 stays true to the "everything will remote play on Vita". will 100% get one if true.

Game could be tricked into thinking that those triggers were emulated on backtouch.

yeah, that's possible, more logical & a cheaper solution for the price and battery life.
But I wonder if it can be as responsive as a digital button.

I just received Sigma Plus and Sigma 2 Plus -- I'm going to make a video of playing both of their first levels to compare (or at least half way through the first on Sigma 2 since it's long).

MGSHD is pretty cool, and I was worried that Snake Eater wouldn't have the Portable Ops camera, but it does. =) I also didn't know it came with the old Metal Gear games (which I'm definitely not playing).

Wipeout 2048 unfortunately is waiting at a deposit box I have to pick up tomorrow. Needed a signature and we have no door bell.

P4G is postponed until I complete ZoE2HD.

Wifey just went back to Japan for two weeks, which leave me on my own. Complete isolation with studies and a new baby (I mean the Vita).

What happened to the Frobisher Says DLC for North America? I've been getting Near presents from Euro players for months now that don't do anything. I think they patched the NA version but still no additional DLC?
