Vita PSN Game & Service Thread | April 2013 | Sacrifice your Independent Soul

Oh wait sorry... I would love a Fallout for the Vita.

=3

EDIT: OMG Touch My Katamari is another mini-Katamari. I would have thought that with the processing power of the Vita (and RAM) it would be more like the console versions (lots of stuffs). Do not want...

Yea with Katamari I always find the levels too short even on consoles at times, I just want to keep rolling lol. So an even more bite sized Katamari = do not want.

Still waiting for Civilization Vita. Get to it Sony!

My Vita backlog is such an issue nowdays, it just keeps growing and growing :lol. I finished Persona 4 and I'm trying to finish platinuming it in the next few days. After that there is STILL Uncharted that I haven't started, Wipeout that I barely have started, Lumines that I haven't really tried yet, need to start and finish 999 to be ready for VRL that is a freebie this month...

And then there is Bioshock Infinite that I had to buy. I'll just got to try and finish it fast. PS3 plus games? *laughs*. Yeah, I'll see if I can get to them next year or something...

Then there is stuff like Jet Set Radio where I am around halfway through and MGS collection. I just gotta sweep those under the rug for the time being. There are probably some games I'm missing...

I'd be OK with it if there weren't so many maps that all feel the same. The only really unique levels are hidden behind DLC/grinding. Also the soundtrack sucks compared to Katamari Forever.

you can play them again later in drive mode or eternal mode but I'm guessing you meant just having bigger maps.

Capcom needs to show the Vita some love, either Viewtiful Joe 3, or atleast port Sonic Generations.

Yeah and Okami 2, God Hand 2, I'm sure
Clover
Seed
Platinum and Capcom could make a deal about dead licenses which didn't sold back in the days, surely Vita would be the best platform ever to revive them.

Dead franchises on a dead system? Seems like the perfect match.
Sorry.

Is this the new Konami thing?

First Capcom needs to release Biohazard PSP.

Managed to get some GGs in SFxT. I mean, connection was bad, but combos are for the most part auto-pilot. Couldn't Tsumuji Loop with Ibuki though, tried anyway (HK loop works in SFxT).

I kinda got bodied by a player who really has playing with pad down. It's impossible to feel salty when it's laggy but, this would be really fun if more people had a Vita at my Uni. Yeah, I'll go with that. I've put enough hours (fun hours) to justify buying it now.

I loaded up MHFU and I can't seem to open any menu that gives me any sort of options. I'm curious, what do I have to do to add any filter if there is any or customise the controls?

Downloading the DLC was tedious.

From now on I promise myself not to buy any more games for the Vita that I have in UMD form -- or HAVE played before. Not a good idea to rack up a backlog like that.

I want to show of my Vita theme. =) There aren't so many games installed but I got the perfect wallpapers.

It sucks that it goes black when you change page, but if you set a page X colour before giving it a wallpaper, it fades out of that colour -- so at the top I have X colour that fades into the wallpaper, and out if I go back. That way you can avoid the black screen.

Pretty happy to hear youre enjoying the vita. Seems to be the general concensus - glad to see gaf slowly coming around to the little guy.

Been looking to put my vita back into the mix with some new games ( had to wrap up some backlog on my 3ds). Was looking into atelier and have been trying to find mvc 3 at a decent price.

Thanks! =) It's a very beautiful machine indeed.

My Vita Theme (Wallpapers)

When PSN+ gives more free games I'll get a bigger card.

MHFU: Oh my god my eyes. I should have expected it would look so bad. It looks like Sigma 2+. Sony put some thought into the Right Stick's custom controls. Unfortunately, because I no longer use my thumb for the face buttons, I still have to claw.

=( I prefer playing on the Go. Oops.

Edit: It appears that my phone's lens wasn't clear. Oops x2.

Edit 2: I want Lost Planet Colonies (or 2, I'll take it) on here.

Damnit what's wrong with me. I have consoles and a gaming(ish) laptop. What is it about the Vita that makes everything so much more attractive to play?

dat OLED

Good news is that my wifey said she could grab PSO2 from Tokyo. Now it's just a matter of making the final decision.

any games recommendations for a 13 years old lil girl that don't really know much English(any at all really),My niece Birthday this month,I'm got her a Vita(and Kindle Fire HD) and just made a PSN account for her, now I only bought Gurumin for her and don't know what to do next.

Machinarium is available in NA store. Don't know about other stores.

what size mem card you got?

So, Disgaea 3: This is pretty good for a list of spots to level up in. 2-1 in particular seems good right now. Using it to level up some new classes, but Mao and Almaz one-shotting enemies before I can combine them is a little annoying.

Woohoo~ After joining PS+ for both US and EU, I also finally got around to getting a vita! I also got 2 8gb memory cards for both regions. I'm wondering about switching between accounts...

My current backup data on the computer is some random string of numbers and letters... is there a way to name it so that I can tell which backup is for which account? or will the machine able to tell which backup is related to which account?

I was referring to Tempest. It's the only DS Tales game without a Vita release. It's also the worst game in the series. Given Innocence, and Hearts R didn't sell very well in Japan I can see Scamco not bothering with Tempest.

Bamco already hinted another remake and also said it won't be Tempest.
However they didn't openly announce anything so they may change the plan.

BTW, in Japan Vita hardware is in shortage for like 2-3 weeks.
At first I thought it had something to do with discontinuation of 3G models, but now it's kinda weird...

Verdict on Resistance: Burning Skies demo

no, absolutely not

f**k so many horrible and old mistakes when it comes to gameplay design =( oh well, I know I'll play it if I see it on offer or something

Is there anybody willing to play NFS with me later? One of the multiplayer trophies involves taking down someone on my friends list. My PSN ID is oldyella if anyone's interested.

I thought the PSO2 sliver bundle was the only one sold out? Then again I thought it was the red and blue colors were selling well too?

Capcom is done with Vita. Those guys won't even port Sengoku Basara 4 to the platform when PS3/PSV titles seem to be common in Japan.

Tales of Symphonia R for NintendoGAF to commit sudoku.

Just started Trails in the Sky and just finished the "training". Really like it so far, though the orbment features confuse me a little at the moment. I'm sure I'll get the hang of it soon enough.

Oh and can I just say that I LOVE the music already :D

It does it via account, so I did two backups under different account and each account only saw a single backup available to restore.

Great game! The orbment system will make more sense as you go along, it is not too complicated. I've been so tempted to pick this game up digitally since I got rid of my PSP and UMDs.

meh they should just announce 10 simple games that they own the rights to make on the vita

alundra 3
dark cloud 3
folklore 2
heavenly sword 2
Jeanne d'Arc 2
Legend of the Dragoon 2
Rogue Galaxy 2
wild arms 6
Legend of Legaia 3
and of course... PaRappa the Rapper 3

I don't think I'd buy a single one of those. Or if I did it would take a lot of convincing -- Parappa, maybe, if the price was right.

I'd much rather have new IPs... or a new Crash Bandicoot (I know Sony doesn't own the IP, but the first 4-5 games were PSX exclusive, I believe) game if it's done right. Maybe a new Jet Moto.
Or a new Demon's Souls, God of War, Mark of Kri, Syphon Filter, or Dead Nation.
