do you guys know how often content manager assistant on your computer is supposed to check for new files? I added a few images a couple days ago to the watched folder that I wanted to use as wallpapers on the vita but they're not showing up on the list. I'm running it on a mac if that matters.

You can't save while you're in a dungeon though, but you can bring along items that allow you to "exit" the dungeon, go save, and then return back to the beginning of the same dungeon level that you exited from. Also, with the Vita save states like mentioned above, its really not a big deal. When I'm playing P4G on Vita the game stays active on my handheld all week so "saving" all the time isn't a big deal.

I've never done an OT... but there's nothing like trying to do one for a highly anticipated game less than 12 hours away!

i started playing sonic racing transformed yesterday. i have the wii u version, so for those interested, i wrote up a comparison.
i originally bought the wii u one thinking it would be the best of both worlds since i would be able to play on the couch with friends but also be able to play on the gamepad (with better graphics than vita) in bed. it was also supposed to be the best console version. well, i had zero willpower and bought the vita version when it was on sale anyway. now i've actually had a chance to really compare both versions. i've played the wii u version with friends on the couch, on the gamepad in bed, and now the vita version.
the wii u multiplayer experience was just fucking awful. i don't know if there is a way to alter the control scheme, but my friends and i struggled because the multiplayer forced us to use wiimote tilt controls for steering. it was bad, and not just because it used tilt controls. it just seemed to be really poorly implemented.
the wii u gamepad experience was ok. it obviously controls a million times better than the tilting wiimotes. the screen quality of the gamepad is so awful though. even though the wii u version has better graphics than the vita version, the vita version's clarity (IQ) as well as the actual screen itself made it look so much better than on the gamepad. i could have complained about the gamepad being more comfortable, but i was using the pdp grip for the vita and it was fine. also, somehow the vita analog sticks were better for flight than the gamepad's. it's like the gamepad analog stick sensitivity is way too high.
anyway, i really recommend the vita version. there is slowdown in certain segments of certain levels, but i experienced similar slowdowns in the wii u version. sooo, if you were fine with the console experience, it won't bother you here. for gamepad-only play, the vita version definitely beats out the wii u version. the wii u version looks better on the tv, but that's not really where i wanted to be playing the game (so that may be more specific to my needs than to others). i also truly felt the analog control for the flight segments were easier on the vita version.
i haven't dipped into the online multiplayer portion for either game (if it exists??), so if that's a big deal to others i would recommend reading more about it. it's not a huge interest of mine.

No I dont have PS+ but Im going to get it when I get the vita. Do you get 1 month free if its a new PSN account? Haven't heard much about those games Im afraid

I don't believe your bundle gets a free month, but anyone here will tell you PS+ is a requirement for vita for all the deals and free games.
I actually think Wipeout is currently free...Gravity Rush, Uncharted:Golden Abyss, and Disgaea 3 are also free i think.
Guacamelee is a beautifully stylized metroidvania game releasing tomorrow. Done by DrinkBox studios who also made Mutant Blobs Attack ( a critically acclaimed game)
Soul Sacrifice is a highly anticipated game, that was released in Japan a few weeks ago. It's a "boss hunting" style game with some great depth and multiplayer that has reviewed really well so far.

$71 is still a lot of money for a memory card. It's a decent deal, but don't get it if you don't need it. I hope you enjoy P4G!
Yes its alot,even if the discount reaches 60$..but compared to the prices there its really good deal..never saw one less than 80$ for a while,i just put it here for the benefit of the gaffers cuz i have enough memory cards there$71 is still a lot of money for a memory card. It's a decent deal, but don't get it if you don't need it. I hope you enjoy P4G!
i think i'll stop p4g to catch the hype train for Guacamelee..really excited about this game p=

It's like Nintendo first party titles. When most of the gamecube games hit like $20 or less, SSBB and NSMBWii and all that? Still $50.
If you want the memory, you're going to pay for it, simple as that.
So take whatever deal you can get.
