Vita PSN Game & Service Thread | April 2013 | Sacrifice your Independent Soul

Got WRC3 (EU) and found some free tracks in the US PS Store. I have finished downloading and now it just says "waiting to install". My game card is in the Vita, I've tried to refresh when I'm in the game "bubble", but nothing happens. At first I thought it was because the game is EU-version and the DLC is from the US Store, but the game isn't available in the US afaik? I feel retarded :/

General rule is that anything on the US store won't work on a. none US version. Sorry.

Assuming the DLC works (which I doubt), you'd need to start the game up and it'll install 'em when it launches.

The free DLC is (was?) also available in the EU store. I've downloaded it, despite not even owning the game yet.

WRC 3 was just recently released as a digital only title in NA. And, no, it won't work. DLC needs to be from the same region as the game. Heck, for some games it needs to be from the same country.
 
Got my review code for Guacamelee and the moment I started it up, I got a call from work with a deadline, so I cannot play it until at least this evening.

Work sucks!

I've almost got all the crowns. All but:

2-1 = Keep a perfect impact rate over 50%
3-2 = One pin shot
(and of course the last one that will be available after these two)

It's a nightmare to me. I've some good skill right now but I cannot get that crown! I cannot hit the ball with perfect impact so many times... don't u have a hint for me?

Yesterday I got a rising shot but I think it's not considered as a pin shot. Is a pin shot a shot in which I simply hit the pin? Or I have to hit and score? Or what?! :/

hit ball to green and putt it to the fringe so you get a close chipin

unfortunately no. impact only affects the hitzone not perfect impact zone.
yeah just hit pin and drop then win.


when i was checking for you i grabbed a hi impact player and noticed if you jack the stat high enough it auto perfects so maybe you can abuse that.....i dont know if you got the clubs or not but if you really struggling maybe just try that
 
Is Guacamelee going to be a Sony exclusive or will it eventually head to steam like Mutant Blobs Attack? Getting the vita/ps3 version so it doesn't really affect me but was just wondering.

It's a pub fund game so there will be some timed exclusivity. Wouldnt be surprised to see it turn up on Steam after that.!

I think it was found in the Steam registry. It'll definitely have timed exclusivity for a while on Sony consoles, though.

I hope it does come to PC eventually so more people can play it. :)

I'll buy it on PSN and Steam like i did with MBA.

Infact i bought MBA about 3 times on PSN and then on Steam. Drinkbox fanboy ;)

I couldn't get the first game's AR stuff to work with my Vita. :(

I support any game with Brian Blessed in it, though, so hopefully the new game(s) feature him too.

Also, PS3 as well? Hmmm. Wonder when it's being released, then.

EDIT: PS3 version looks very Skylanders.
 
Finally bit the bullet and picked up a Vita yesterday, and promptly filled up this 16gb card with the PS+ stuff I've been adding for months.

Might be kicking myself if they do any revision/price drop announcements at E3, but whatever. I waited long enough

Batman Arkham Origins has just been announced for PC, Wii U, PS3 and Xbox 360! Set several years before the previous chapters in the series, the story will put you in the shoes of a younger Batman. Players will meet many of the franchise’s most important characters for the first time and even develop important relationships with them.

Alongside the main game, a spinoff title called Batman: Arkham Origins Blackgate will be available for 3DS and Vita platforms. Both games will be available on October 25th of this year,00 and will be developed by WB Games Montreal, rather than series creator Rocksteady. Stay tuned to Gamefocus for more details on the game!

I have two accounts on my ps3, my main one that I use is European and I got another connected to the US PSN. On the US one I got a couple of PS games I would like to transfer to my Vita. My Vita is bound to my main European account.

Is there any way for me to get those games onto my Vita?
