I literally had no idea what mine was. Had to pop it out and check before i realised the orange blob is supposed to be Drake's face.
I suppose i could have guessed seeing as i only have 4 physical games but still.

Decided my next game to complete will be Sigma 1 Plus on MNM, and I'll re-rent or buy Sigma 2 Plus and finish that on MNM (if it drops in price by then).
And while Sigma 2 Plus re-delivers, I'll finish Guacamelee. Sorted.
P4G should've come today though. I'm not sure if I'll like it. I love SMT games but P3P just wasn't for me. I kinda hope I don't like it =P

I've already put like 5-6 hours into it and I haven't beaten it yet. However, I'm also working toward 100% at the same time... so not like kassatsu... he did story first, then found everything, then played hard... so it will be interesting to see where i come out with my percentage of completeness and final time when I finish the game.
Definitely worth more than $12. It blows most downloadable games on PSN out of the water. I'd have trouble having paid $20 for it, but that's my inner cheapass talking. I don't pay $20 for most disc/retail games. :lol And I'm sure that I'd feel it was worth that when I finished, should I have jumped at that price.

Tales from Space: Mutant Blobs Attack should be in the PSN N-Z folder, buddy.

yup - go to content manager and have to check off which games you want the auto cloud option.

Since you guys did that thing were you told the Xcom guys that you wanted their game, and I got backlash for saying it was dumb- I decided to email a company to see how it went.
I told High Voltage Software that I enjoyed their Conduit game and the Android port of it. Then I mentioned they should port it to Vita and they emailed me back saying "Vita huh? Hmm..."
All I could think about was Snake's voice. "A Hind D?"

If High Voltage could bring The Conduit 1 or 2 to Vita with the multiplayer intact (unlike the Android version I think?), that'd be great.

I appreciate the ports, but it would be a lot more meaningful if these developer's future games were on the Vita day one.
why does it seem like no one is talking about how ugly the folders are? i was merely ok with the bubble look of the regular os, but these folders are fucking horrible. they should have let you choose from a collection of default folder icons or something. it's absolutely atrocious to look at.
i know this comes off as hyperbole, and i'm definitely in a bad mood this morning, but they really are unfortunate to look at.

Yeah, they aren't the greatest. It is better than nothing though.
It took me awhile to figure this out, in fact i just ended up doing it last night for the first time after owning a vita since december. I didn't play that many games though, just uncharted and mutant blobs so far.

Sure, the folders aren't pretty, but I went from having to swipe through 8 pages to get to all my content to having to swipe three. That's a win for me.
So, yeah, functionality>>>>>>looks when you can't have both. Maybe in a future update they'll rework the UI, but I already think a Vita UI reworking is coming when the PS4 launches, due to all the PS4/Vita cross functionality, having a unified UI would help with that. I can easily see the Vita UI being an extension of the PS4 one.
EDIT: I went into Persona 4 Golden having only played a total of 15 minutes of Persona 3, and I love it. I'm now 34+ hours in P4G, and it's just amazing. I've only stopped playing it because of Guacamelee, but as soon as I'm done with it, I'm going right back into P4G. I'm already lamenting how sad I'm going to be when it's all over (both games, actually).

oh i agree that the function is great, but damn... it truly could not look any worse.

I dunno, I kind of like the folders and how they look. Just finally getting that functionality is awesome, so I can dump all of the default apps you have but never use into someplace I can forget about.

No those games are awful from top to bottom.

Awful controls (would be fixed on vita).
Really really bad enemy and level design.
Nonexistent AI.
Boring weapons/puzzles.
The conduit might be the worst game to ever get a sequel.

Is there any word on if Sony will release an e-reader app of some sort in the future? It would be perfect for reading in the bed imo. My iPhone's too small and the iPad too big (when I'm not wearing my contacts). Vita would be the perfect middle ground.

The Update... It was Downloading and it hit 100%, it stayed on that screen for almost 15 minutes. I knew something was wrong because it never just stays like that. then the screen just turned off. So I thought it was doing its restart... never turned back on.
yeah... it wont turn on at all now...

In the game Haunt the House: Terrortown, it seems to stop working at the main hub if you press L or R. I worked out these are the change ghost buttons, so if you haven't unlocked new ghosts, the game simply stops working. It also happens some times even if you have unlocked some new ghosts. Pretty inexcusable glitch, I wonder if I can get in contact with them as I enjoy the game otherwise. The music also goes really static during loading screens, and if you skip through the tutorial too quickly it can't load the hub world properly (and sometimes outright crashes PSM).

Apologies if this was answered before but you can set that option in the Playstation store. The way I did this on the Vita was:
1) I got into the Playstation store
2) Open the "..." icon in the bottom right corner
3) Select "Transition Management"
4) Select "Security"
5) Enter password
6) Select option "Require password at checkout".

Did it possibly run out of power? If you haven't plugged it into a power source I recommend doing that and waiting a few minutes, then doing the reset trick. I can't remember offhand what the reset trick is but I think it consists of holding down the power button? I'll edit this post if I can find how to do that...
EDIT: Yeah - looks like the reset "trick" is just holding down the power button for five seconds like previously mentioned. But I highly recommend doing this after it is plugged into a power source for a few minutes. If it still doesn't do anything after plugging it into a power source for a few minutes does it still look like it has no power at all? For example, is the PS button on the bottom left of the front screen showing up blue? Any lights anywhere?

No, I had it plugged in... It seems that it just froze up while installing the new firmware and fucked itself up... Its out of warranty too...
I'll just have to buy a new one in the next few weeks.

Hey Kassatsu -- question on two Guacamelee trophies:
(1) I Swat You -- what the hell is a "slam" attack? is it just down+[]? I know the chupacabras are the flying dragon monsters... but I don't know how to defeat one using only "slam".
(2) Catch the Rainbow -- location and general strategy to hit all 6 special moves without touching the ground? I'm assuming the wall run and rocket moves count too, so this seems like a pain in the ass.

Oh that sucks! Hey - one more idea - have you tried connecting it to your PC or Mac and see if it can "see" the Vita? I'm not near my home PC right now so I can't check but maybe there's some way to reset the Vita through your PC or Mac with content manager? I doubt it but there may be a way...
EDIT: Or maybe there's a way to force the firmware upgrade again through your PC/Mac.
They're okay depending on the background and layout.

I just saw this in the firmware thread...
IT WORKED! I got it to boot into the system recovery screen... cross your fingers that it will let me finish to update!
