For your point, though, I like Gunz the Duel.[/QUOTE]

This statement confuses the fuck out of me.

Gunz sucks. The netcode is worse than kof13.

The butterflying in Gunz was hilarious. God that game was broken

Wat. Its an example of having everything a developer could want with a dedicated audience you can only dream of having.

Gunz, Gunbound and every single one of those ijji or otherwise Korean games (except Drift City, but it got ruined by it's monetization model later) were absolutely awful. I couldn't believe kids were playing that shit over even stuff like Runescape, which is not exactly a high bar either.

Fuck MapleStory too.

Gunz was ridiculous once you stuck with it. Once you get past learning how to butterfly (really simple to do, you can cancel your air slashes with blocks), slash shooting was pretty crazy (you swap your gun and sword so you would be blocking and shooting as much as possible by adding a gun swap to the butterfly) all while air dashing. That game would fuck up your fingers because you needed to double tap so much for air dashes and do things like tap shift constantly with your pinky. I wish shooters would go back to something with more mobility instead of relying on cover and having low health.

TF2 just got boring after a while. Skillcap is way too low.

TF1 was infinitely better.
I quit when I realized I was playing item collector and trader fortress 2 and what the real draw of the game became to me. It was fun, several hundreds of hours of fun, but eventually I just couldn't keep up with the economy anymore that had taken over the game and my interests with the amount of actual time I had to play.

I still hold the game as one of the best FPS ever made, but I don't think I'll get back into it seriously again.

That drew me in further.

The appeal of new cosmetics every week (once upon a time) and that "oh man, I gotta get that" feeling always excited me.

We need a fighter, maybe f2p, maybe not, that has the number and variety of cosmetics of TF2, with new ones added frequently, that you can obtain through wins/completing specific challenge type things and can trade with others.

Yeah.

I played it when it was in Open beta and for a few years after that on and off. I can't believe I wasted so much time on it and I'm not even sure how I even found it fun. The environment and enemy art was kind of nice though and the UI wasn't a big mess compared to most MMOs.

so basically you're a sucker

but when the killcam shows me wearing a cool looking new hat that's only been out for a day, that the other guy didn't know existed, he'll be all "i bet that dude is really good at this game"

and think about all the new weapons that i get to use for a week before switching back to the superior stock ones!

Rokrew Arena [ 8PM EDT | 5PM PDT ]•Biweekly stream out of New Jersey featuring P4:A and Guilty Gear/Aquapazza alternating.

Ok, I'm new to this thread but is the Rokrew stream link correct? Every time I try it there's never anything playing.

I don't like Borderlands either. I don't think they're bad games, I just don't like playing them.

So good. Semi-auto rocket launchers and swords with a bigger hitbox behind than in front ALL DAY.

It's the right link, but I don't think there's been anything since March.
Dunno if it's not happening any more or it's just on break or something.

The option right below the characters is for "Other".
And then under it is the character if you chose Other.

I like TF2 alot. It's fun and really lighthearted. I can drop in anytime and not worry about my level being good enough or something like that.

This isn't FGC related so... I'm thinking about buying Injustice but, I'm afraid it might end up like my last fighting game purchase (SFxT).

Does your local community hold any casuals? I noticed that someone always seem to have a game near where I live and usually I can give a game a try at a local meetup, so maybe you can do the same and see if you like it. It's much better than trying a demo because you would have actual opponents to play with and the whole roster.

Injustice launching right at the end of a console generation is not a good look.
