One thing that's surprised me that I hadn't really thought about until the other night when I was randomly looking through the store is that Ubisoft absolutely had to make a killing off the shitty iOS ports that they sold for 30 and 40 bucks a piece... I wonder why they never went back to that well. Not that I want them to, but it seems like easy money.


I haven't heard shit about this fall in a while. The last thing I heard was about batman and that was almost two months ago. I have a feeling that the vita is getting ignored just like the PSP did when the PS3 launched. Atleast they are reaching out to indies and japanese third party to keep it going. Though I guess Killzone + Tearaway + Batman + ps4 integration will still make for a decent fall.

Seems like Vita going be PS4 accessory now :/ Sony should really used the money for COD on Vita on someone else like Rockstar . But I kind of wonder how the relationship between Activision and Sony will be after this.

Guys! This is it! The big week! ... Where we might find out if the Vita version of Legends of War: Patton really is a thing or not. The UK release date is supposed to be this Friday.

Still nothing over here either =\. There's this thread on the playstation forums where everyone who didn't receive it yet are posting in. All we can do is wait until Monday.

I, and others, are pumped. Especially since the save transfers over to the full game. Woot Woot SS!!!

So I tried to play PSABR on the vita and good god the patches. I only have a freaking 4gb stick, how do they expect people to keep this game on there memory card with these many patches of like 500mb +/-. Make either a bigger memory card or lower the price on the current ones(or both).
 
A bit peeved that a pre-order page for soul sacrifice is not up yet in the US. :|

Those pre-order goodies better come with US digital version too or else (╯°□°）╯︵ ┻━┻

That's the point. Nobody is supposed to feel comfortable on a 4gb.
PS+, patches, DLC, digital games. You're supposed to feel trapped and then give in to the 32gb master race (that's dying for a 64gb or greater card). ;)

I wouldn't be surprised if the 4GB card gets discontinued or is only added to new Vita bundles after E3. It's so useless.

Edit: Has anyone seen Kyle/twentytwo22's new Vita video? It's kind of awesome.

After installing the patches the game size doesn't really change by much. Though the temporary space required to download the patch can still be a problem if you have a small memory card.

The publisher themselves aid it will be out the 19th last month. We'll see!

I got a $20 psn card as a gift from my "little brother" in my fraternity attached to the paddle he made for me. I'll be getting Ys7 tomorrow morning. :D

Dunno if I should stop FF VII or finish it before I do Ys7...

The notion that 12 million means anything to the big four western publishers is laughable to me, and also aggravating, especially Rockstar what with their hundred million dollar budgets, 12 million will probably pay for the tissues to dry the tears of laughter at such a proposal.
 
12 million isn't bad for a portable game. Uncharted 1+2 had budgets around 20 million without marketing(http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/uncharted-sequel-costing-usd-20-million). They also bundled these games heavily and gave them much exposure.

Fifa soccer seemed to have sold well and I guess even Fifa 13 did decently, even though it was just a roster update. Don't know about madden.
It may also be that people prefer to buy yearly releases on card so the can trade them in if the next years update arrives.

They'll probably make the pre-order DLC included for those that purchase the Digital version within a week after the game's release like they did with Gravity Rush.

As for remote play meaning we won't see vita versions... I think that's hard to predict. Remote play *will* be enabled over the internet but we have no idea how well it will work. If it isn't viable I think people would still want vita specific versions. But it will come down to sales, of course. If there's LittleBigPlanet 3 next year and it comes out on both but the vita sku sells like dogshit because everyone just remote plays it... we will obviously see less ports like that in the future.

NFL (don't remember which one - it was bundled in USA)
NFS
I don't remember anything else

edit: also Sony Poland needs to get a grip- I was looking at preordering SS in local shops but it costs 180 PLN, on Amazon.uk it's 30 pounds (around 150PLN)...

A new cod is far from being impossible, declassified had undeserved good sales if i remember correctly, imo infinity will be ported on vita if epic mickey 2 will have satisfying sales.
I'm really curious about patton, if it's still alive and it's decent i'll probably buy it.
 
I just joined the 32gb club! Will be getting it in a few days, so I am very excited about that. Currently on the 4gb that was included with the Vita, so it's gonna make a huge difference.

I have a question, though: How do I transfer the data from the 4gb to the 32gb card? I apologize if this has been asked a million times already

Use the content manager to make a system backup, than switch your cards. Use the content manager to restore from a system backup.

Their Facebook page says it should be out this Friday, so we shall see! (I've got a preorder in at £27.99)

Speaking of EA games, I'd really like to see the new TW14 Masters on Vita, I think it would look awesome, plus add a variety of control methods.
