Maybe SS English demo/release will have new and improved ground texture and that caused the demo to so big and killed all Sony bandwidth and they can't even use twitter because how super awesome the new textures are.

I can't believe how much you harp on ground textures. Can you play ground textures? Did you tilt the camera at every surface of the game and analyze the textures?

first here what I said about the gameplay

Yeah I played(just few hours) my friend import copy,game is good,fast pacing,helpful ai,combat system is very enjoyable and fluid (unlike the boring fest that was MonHun)and you are not completely screwed when you are alone,it also remind me of the Folklore summoning system,pretty good.

this what the games of this genre should do,move away from copying a tired series or at least don't copy the flaws ( Ragnarok Odyssey copied all the garbage) get good combat system,put a story in your game and be creative.

But...

the ugly ground texture in this day and age and on this powerful hardware is just unacceptable, it's as simple as that and no developer should ever do this on a hardware like this(even 3DS don't get ground textures like this one) and that why I'll keep poking it with my tiny textblade till they patch it or something.

I will say that Soul Sacrifice uses the weirdest filtering I've ever seen for the ground textures. The more you tilt the camera horizontally, the blockier they appear but looking at them head-on reveals that they aren't that bad at all.

It initially was jarring but I got over it.

Each time Totobeni harps on ground textures I think he must be that kid playing WoW with a pitiful graphics card and bemoaning how he can only play as a healer and he has to stare at the ground.

Therein lies the problem. The inconsistency. I missed out on a promotion once because of one of those "early" updates, but thankfully they honored it after an hour of intense debate on customer service.

Somewhat, yeah. Whether the referrals were succesful or not was a crapshoot, but at least I got something out of it.
