Man, I had this dream that somebody said LTTP wasn't even good. But nobody could say that in real life, right? I mean, how could they function telling lies all the time?

It looks like 90% of the game is normal Zelda with a small portion being paper stuff. Calm down.

Holy shit, I was skeptical when I saw the footage in the direct, but the 3D-trailer on the eShop looks WAY better, the colors are a lot more vibrant (even in that brown area) and the 3D-effect is very nice!

After watching the 3D-trailer I'm sold!

Er... on second thought, I can probably wait another year. That art style is pretty sad. Not saying I won't enjoy it, but hard to be hyped right now.

That's not a translation. The literal translation is Triforce of the Gods 2, which is ALttP's Japanese name.

Trailer looks MUCH better when viewed in 3D. Much, much better. Does it compare to the 2D LttP style? Well no, but its not bad.

Link's model still not great though.
 
My personal favorite Zelda getting a sequel. This just came out of nowhere. Art even looks like LttP, gonna be incredible! I can't wait to see of what kind of dungeons and items they come up with combining the older style with newer hardware.

I am fine with the art style. There are going to be more colourful dungeons than that. It looks a lot better when you see the overworld areas. It is interesting that they are going to remake most of the locations. Which would make it easy for them to remake the original if this game proves successful. I prefer top down 3D effects opposed to what they would do with a standard 3d Zelda so this decision makes sense. I am just shocked that they are making a new classic zelda game again. It better be better than the Minish Cap as that game was not so great and way too easy for its own good.

LttP is the best in the series, by such a large margin that the rest of the games in the series are left in the dust.

I am so happy they are doing this, top down, please no major use of the silly stylus. This is what i have been waiting for since Minish Cap

And does anyone think they will maybe include LTTP in the game as a unlock able? Or at least put it up on the store for us 3DS owners to hype us up even further?
 
The only Zelda's I didn't like the artstyle where the DS ones. Didn't have a problem with any other Zelda artstyle, actually.
 
After the DS games and two home console ones infested with motion controls, I finally get a top-down sequel to my favourite game of all time, sweet.

Top-down Zelda is best Zelda, the change in art style is something I get used to very quickly every time.

I love the sound effects in the 3D trailer.

I don't feel too good about reusing Moldorm though, unless it's the first form or whatever. I realise I'm nitpicking but Link's shield looks noticeably bland too.
 
I'm getting excited. Love Zelda games and i'm really starting to get hyped now. Mario party not having online would be disappointing but i can play it with my cousins so it's not a big issue for me. And shit, I think i'm actually interested in Pokemon X Y. This year is getting amazing for y 3DS.
