An MIT police officer was killed earlier.
The guy in the residential area on the ground was an individual who was in the area (a witness), and when the cops yelled at the suspect he voluntarily got on the ground so he didn't get himself shot. He's OK.
Well that's good to hear for me at least. But my uncle is a police cpt with the BPD, so I'm positive he's there now, I hope he's okay.

I'm just saying, there are always crazy amounts of miscommunication as events are happening. Obviously shooting suspects using explosives is not common and would point to the person or people from tonight being involved in the marathon bombing. But I dont think I'm going to believe that there were actual explosives used tonight until that info has a solid confirmation. Not CNN confirmation but real confirmation.
