How big is this neighborhood they're searching? If everything in Boston is shut down, it seems like it'd be pretty easy to find a used Honda driving around the city.
You would think...

"He is the brother of the suspects father."
Can you make it any more complicated reporter lady? Just say it's their uncle. That whole segment is pretty dumb. Why am I watching CNN?
Friend interviewed:"He was sociable, not a loner."
Analyst on fox: "He was a quiet guy, kept to himself."

EDIT 224 2:32 PM: Father told media the boys were planning on going back to Russia in a few days.
I wonder if these kids are somehow related to the Chechen terrorists in Russia.
I can't help but think of the movie, Wag the Dog. Something else is definitely going on.
My brain cells...Why is there such a huge crackdown on Boston for one guy?
Is this implying easy to steal from a technical standpoint? Or easy to steal from a blend in standpoint? (I didn't know Toyotas were heavily stolen, in terms of percentage)I believe Hondas are pretty easy cars to steal, right alongside Camrys and Corollas

19? He's a fucking kid....
if so...why would they rob a store? in a few days, they may have been scott-free.

Also, kid? Its a grown ass man.
I'm getting like nothing at all done today.
Now that things aren't quite as hectic and seem to have slowed down a lot I'm going to try to get some stuff done before the day is gone totally.
think about it...their pictures were plastered all over the media. sounds like they freaked out.
Good advertisements to criminals that they can easily be carjacked.good advertisement for honda i guess
So did the RAID when they assaulted Merah, but he wouldn't give up without a fight.Authorities have made it clear that they want him alive.
Yeah, what was up with that?My best guess, when their photos showed up on TV, they panicked and needed money to run.
Any word on what that 60 year old guy arrested with the "device" was all about?

What?
Seriously. You don't need military presence to hunt a 19 year old with a gun- which is all he is now.
Pretty sure the Toyota Camry is like top 5 most stolen cars.Is this implying easy to steal from a technical standpoint? Or easy to steal from a blend in standpoint? (I didn't know Toyotas were heavily stolen, in terms of percentage)
It was posted on the suspect's Twitter account. It's of him and his friends. The implications are two fold -- that these kids had very expensive vehicles/access to a lot of cash and perhaps whatever that license plate says.

Yeah, it's a bit of a crazy thing to criminalize, and you're right on the money that it's borderline ludicrous to attempt to enforce.Ah, so you are correct there; it appears that in Nevada at least, marijuana use per se as opposed to possession is actually illegal. That's really weird. I have absolutely no idea how they'd charge someone under that statute. Hahaha.

Not Russian, but NPR was talking about the Chechen rebellion transforming from a nationalist movement to a religious movement over the past 10 years. The current Chechen government is supported by Russia. There is a Caucus-wide Muslim movement involving several countries and the extremist Chechens have joined it.

how did this guy get away from that many cops. was it dark when he ran off on foot?
It's hilarious, and predictable, seeing people trying to associate these guys as Russians and not Muslims.
As if these acts were done for glorious Mother Russia (most Chechens HATE Russia and want nothing to do with Russia) and not based on verses from the Quran.
If true, that's pretty damning.
