Not much. The greater Boston area is under a shelter in place request (not order). The police are going house to house in Watertown and requesting to clear premises.

They still haven't caught suspect 2? Yikes.

How do you think finding one person in a huge area works, exactly? If he's hiding in a shed somewhere, what do they do beyond what they're doing?

I do wonder what this guy is thinking now, especially if he is all by himself. Unless he had more support than his brother, the guy is all alone now. If his brother was the mastermind or the guy that kind of corrupted him, maybe the kid comes to his senses.

I...don't think it's as easy as you think it would be, especially looking for a kid with a bomb potentially strapped to himself, that has had hours to find a perfect place to hide (or he slipped the perimeter).

The people of Boston are encouraged to cooperate with autorithis. It's everyone's job to ensure the Suspect is caught. Yes the could refuse cooperation, though I assumed in that case, they can call the president to ensure an immediate warrant.

Ugh I miss the night time thread with people actually following the police scanner. Boston PD has done a freakin great job and as a resident here I support anything they are doing to find this kid. Stop questioning the legality of police checking houses (when people are probably letting them in anyway!) in a closed off area where these dudes were throwing explosives and unloading assault rifles. Please stop. What else should be done? Come on

I agree, I don't see why anyone would have a problem with the cops going all out to catch this guy. Shit, if I lived in that area, knowing that my peace of mind and safety was at stake, I'd let them stroll through my house as many times as they needed.
