I think the Vita will get a lot more marketing once the PS4 is out. Internet remote play is a great feature to sell people with. I think you'll see a $199 price drop by the end of the year to go along with it.
 
Anyone still waiting for their $20 for signing up under someone's referral? Still not received mine... Do they send it via email or does it automatically get added to your account?
 
What good would Xzibit be to the market when they don't even put AAA ports on the system in droves?

I mean, shit, they basically threw up their hands and made it an indie handheld as a last-ditch effort since people aren't buying the system and aren't buying the AAA ports that come.

Which is a shame since the PSP was a JRPG AAA port powerhouse. If the second was more of the same, I'd have been as happy as a pig in shit along with the fighting game ports. Alas, I only get one of them.

I'm saying it was smart to have Xzibit at CES. This was 2004 or 2005, the height of his career. NFL Street, Pimp My Ride, and his new album. Sony needs celebrities to endorse their products, it helped the PS2 and PSP greatly. We cannot have random actors imitating a gunfight on a roof.
 
Let me ask something: can I have one PSN account linked to 1 PSV and 2 PS3, right? How about the PSP? It's the same "license" that PS3? Or can I also register my psp too?

Let me know when you all gather for the trophy, but I'm practicing on my own because as you can see I was getting mercilessly, mercilessly beaten (although it was awesome). I hadn't played on any of those tracks.

I actually purchased my Vita way before this promo but it still seemed to work for me at the time. About 4 days ago I got an e-mail with a voucher code that seems legit but the code doesn't work. Is it a US only code (I'm in Canada)? Was the e-mail a fake? Why won't it work! :c

The promotion was "open to legal residents of 50 U.S./D.C., 18+" so no to Canada, it seems.

I'll PayPal you $5 for the code. You might as well get something for your effort.

Two handhelds, and two home consoles. So yes, you should be able to do what you want to and register a PSP to the account.

Gotta vent. Y'all know I love my Vita but holy god damn shit, I was playing P4G last night, getting toward the end, playing in a dark room and getting sucked right into the atmosphere of a long cut scene and every 60 seconds the screen goes dim, yanks me out of my immersion and forces me to press a random button to get my screen brightness back. Over about 15 minutes of cutscenes that means getting yanked out of the zone about 15 times and it was fucking infuriating. This is some nanny-state bullshit OS feature that should have an option to disable it at the very least, if not getting rid of the useless feature altogether.

I'd email Sony if I thought it would help but I know it'd just be pissing into the wind...

The screen shouldn't be dimming in-game. Usually when a game does that to preserve battery power it's when you boot it up, and you can't change it until you exit out.

I'd be willing to give you 15 via paypal for that $20. Might as well not just give it away for free, that's unfair on you really.
 
It's dimming in-game, I know the 80% auto-dim thing for games like DOA and Uncharted but this is dimming in game, during cutscenes when I haven't touched the controls for a minute and flicking a stick, pressing a button or anything like that makes it go back to regular brightness.

Edit: ok according to this I can bump up the time it takes to do the dim thing from 1 min to 5 mins which is a good start at least: http://www.tech-recipes.com/rx/21738/playstation-vita-change-auto-standby-and-power-save-settings/

Yeah, it was really annoying when I was playing P4G. Though I guess it's nice for saving battery when staring at the menus in DOA5+.

And my vita has literally never dimmed on me during a game or Netflix. I recall others having it happen to them, though, so maybe I just never notice.

Maximum size is 32GB, quite pricey though. Still, 32GB if you want (near) that many Vita games :0)

I use the PDP Pull N Go case. Holds my 15 retail carts with room to spare, and holds two memory cards as well. There's a pull out case that holds just the Vita and 4 game carts that is in the bigger case with velcro, too. Sometimes I'll just take the little Vita case out if I'm going to work or something, and then if I go to my fiancee's house I'll take the whole pull n go case so I can bring all my games.

For a small compact box I like the Hori cases. They make a 12 game and 24 game version.
Hori only sells the 12 game version in NA though. I don't know why.

Yeah I have one of those 12 game cases that I was using before that PDP case. It is nice to have but I like being able to carry just one case now instead of that Hori case for my games and then another case for my Vita.
 
That's looks pretty nice Winkle. Should survive a bit of punishment and given the slight transparent fabric the cartridges should be distinguishable.

Persona4 & NGS2+ arrived Friday..NGS2+ on portable is f'ing tight! Screw the framerate at times and jags meh.....It's literally bloody NGS2+ on portable! FUN! In my top 5 games on xbox360, so, obviously looking forward to it good & bad.
Couldn't play a version without proper blood.' Let there be blood seems standard when you take a ninja who decapitates people..

Not you. Some guy named crank1980k. Bernardo was cool, too. Everyone was cool except Crank. We all played like 6 races with a great connection. No drops or anything.

Same time next week? Maybe a little earlier than 12 eastern... Bleach starts then.
