Remember when people thought the 3DS wouldn't survive? Good times.
Don't jump to conclusions so fast about the Vita.

Soul Sacrifice is coming out and we're all looking forward to killing one another. Got to set the mood. The hell did I miss? Did I accidentally walk into a media create sales thread?

haha, yeah, the "3ds situation is overrated"...8:1. The circumstances are frustrating, we know, but don't take it out on little brother.
Wow, people in this thread are turning into idiots. Having to put people on ignore list.
Soul Sacrifice is crazy good yo, Ive spent like 3-4 hours playing online with people. Game's mad difficult if the entire team is underpowered. I need to get stronger so I can at least actually put real damage on the Cerberus, That thing is taking my lunch
I honestly have never put this many hours into a demo before. Just too good. I cannot wait till the 30th.
Umm...the only posts you've been making in here in regards to what everybody is arguing are like "man look at this thread!" "what's going on in here!".
I don't even see what's so crazy. The way a couple of you are talking is like people are having meltdowns left and right. I don't even know that I would call this discussion heated, let alone insane like some people are making it out to be.
I also remember Nintendo slashing the price of the device $80 four months after launch, and announcing/launching big games like Monster Hunter, Mario Kart, and Mario 3D Land shortly after.
It convinced me to buy launch. Ill see yall in Avalon Vitabros
Count me in.

Looks like a really nice game. Given its made around PS3 & Vita not PC the controls and loot/menu navigation shouldn't be a shite port.
Didn't Untold Legend sell really well on the PSP? I wonder why Sony did or wants to throw Warrior's Lair away?
Your point is? Sony has time to turn things around.
Used to enjoy reading this thread when I wasn't registered, but yeah, between sid, totobenny and takao the thread has gone to shit. What a shame.
I'm definitely compiling a list of PSN IDs. Should I start a Google Doc to help arrange games?ZeroAKA, you're doing the OT right?
we should have a list up with timings and all for easy partying heh

Take the realist stance then.
Theres nothing Sony can do to "save" the Vita. They are content with the thing selling what it sells every month right now rather than attempting a price cut that doesn't change a whole lot - which is exactly what SCEJ did.
What exactly is the point? As much as I love my Vita its a device that had no business existing in the first place and was a total misread of the changing times in the market. It was too late to the party, too expensive and aimed at a demographic that doesn't exist (I'm one of the mythical few that falls into it). And like none of that is on the whipping boy Yoshida that some people want to point the finger at.
All I care about is that I'm still getting content on the device and I am. I think if you didn't enjoy indie games though then yeah your device is going to collect some dust. I'm enjoying the hell out of Gucamelee and Soul Sacrifice right now.
I know what you mean but I also understand where he's coming from. It's also a good counter to any dissenters who feel these threads are only for yes-men, and hive mind opinions.
this is all garbage
I forgot Guilty Gear is out on Tuesday, I might have to buy that along with Black Rock Shooter.

Didn't we have a thread few days ago about it silently being cancelled.
Really? Was it based on evidence or just speculation that it may be cancelled?
Btw is anyone quite regularly using that PS app that lets you remote play from PC? Might be quite cool with Dolphin and emulators or something. Never managed to get it working properly for longer than a minute without it crashing but that was a long time ago, did they improve it by any chance?
I wasn't before, but holy shit I will be messing with it now. Just watched a youtube video on it and it seems relatively simple to set up.

Don't you need to spend $100 now to run code from the PSM dev suite?
Wow - I just worked out I can play GOW collections and ICO/SOTC (which i've been holding off from replaying) via remote play!
I can't wait to see what this thing will do with the PS4
new vita owner hype. it's so sexy
Ah.
I just want to save everyone though =-\
A bit of both I guess. Only heard of it once at E3 2011.

That's not a realist's stance. Vita was really only a poor decision for SCEA since they experienced no post-launch success with PSP. SCEE, and SCEJ both had success with the platform. SCEE had minor success with children's games, and SCEJ had mainstream success with the PSP. By the time the PSP is discontinued in Japan it will have outsold the PS2 in that market despite Sony not really giving the PSP its' best, or having a library nearly as good as the PS2's. If Sony wanted to remain relevant in that market Vita was going to be it. The problem is that for whatever reason Sony decided to ignore what made the PSP successful, and rather than buy exclusive Final Fantasy, or Monster Hunter entries they bought Call of Duty, and Assassin's Creed.
Bought mlb 12 the show used and goddamn the hitting is hard, but the game is so addicting. Getting a hit can be very rewarding. I've never played the console version but being able to sim innings makes this perfect for pick up & play.
Anyone has mlb 13? Is there any big differences from 12?
13 is much better performance-wise. If you are ok with 12, you should be ok.
Just got Sly used at GameStop on PS3 with a Vita redemption option still intact. I shall be returning it tomorrow since its no longer needed. I feel kinda bad for taking it though. Has anybody else done this?
