Sorry about Sim City.

I bought it day... three? Game is so bad.

The rest of the stuff is awesome. Go play some Civ V instead.

Nice!

This is what arrived on Friday:

10 minutes later my OS drive goes pop after 3 years of 24/7 use :/ New drive arrives Monday, I'll reinstall everything, and then we'll get to benchmarking and enjoying games at 4K resolution without it being a slideshow.

Got my Titan today. It clocks about the same as my tri-crossfire 6950 (flashed to 6970) setup except it's much quieter.

Now I need to save up for a 2nd card.

Loaded up my free NFS Most Wanted and it runs great at 1440p with everything on max. turn on 2x or 4x super sampling it begins to have some trouble. Have to look at it.

What drive was it?

I'm looking forward to the ASUS 144Hz monitors :D

Yeah I think I'm gonna get the 24in asus. It's 280$ on amazon. I've had my PC for six months and still have it hooked up to a blurry 7 year old tv.

Which card do you recommend?

Gigabyte? EVGA? The EVGA signature?

It's back in stock at my local go-to reseller, so I'm going to buy one tonight. And feel guilty immediately afterwards.

Got mine in yesterday, upgraded from an HD6970, I love this thing so much. I had expected it to perform so much better than my old card but I was not prepared for it to be a little smaller and SIGNIFICANTLY quieter than the AMD card.

What a great surprise the new noise levels turned out to be.

EVGA Signature only has a shirt, mouse pad and extras like that, no? It's the same card really.
I'd say Gigabyte, EVGA and ASUS are all fine, I just wouldn't trust Zotac.

I'd imagine the same, if not less, than the standard Titan.

That reference cooler is not cheap.
Still testing with stock-frequency, and trying to figure out if my i5 750 can become a bottleneck.

Bonus pic:
CPUs are always bottlenecking. Having it be one or the other is a false dichotomy. They can and do exist in both places at once.

I can't find the strictly overclocking thread at Overclock.net for the Titan. I need more input on voltage changes if any and the top frequencies to use.

Increase voltage to increase stability.

Maximum clock entirely depends on your specific GPU.

for some reason in Precision X it was showing whole numbers from 30 to 60 instead of 1.2v etc.

Its an ASUS card but it shouldn't matter.

Have you tried any of those custom bios files?

:P

Good call though. Sometimes I wish I poured that cash into fancy displays and headphones instead of water. You have a killer setup.

Ivy-E/Haswell-E will be waiting for you!

I have way more displays then space at the moment. Right now it's the u3011 with the Asus 120hz on the side. The other two Asus panels sit on the floor in sadness.

I blame this on Downsampling. Looks so good and I feel like the titans are getting their proper workout when doing that :p

Just remembered I still have my titan backplates in their delivery box.. Should probably get around to putting those on..

I thought step up program was only 90 days?

Also if the current titan goes to 799 it's pretty much setting the ceiling in what you can get

Fuu.. Uuuu
