yeah I actually intend to buy DOA5+ this week, any chance you know if your progress in the demo is saved for when you purchase? beating some of the harder difficulties on the demo made me feel like I was going to break my vita lol....

still im pretty impressed with the demo, and the amout of stuff available in the demo is surprising. I have been on the fence about it, but considering the amount of time I put into the demo already it only makes sense to buy it.

So I got Assassin's Creed III: Liberation yesterday and am enjoying it so far. Haven't played more than a couple of missions yet, but the new mechanics introduced for the game are pretty neat. Also the technical limitations of Vita show as a very small number of people being on screen at a time. I'm sure I'll enjoy the game - I've played through all the other home console Assassin's Creed games but III.

After spending some more time with it, I've come around on Soul Sacrifice. Though I still don't find its combat satisfying on a visceral level, I can't get enough of how customizable it is.

Will likely purchase now. Need something to spend my Sony space bucks on anyway :-D

Figured I throw these impressions in here as well...

So I quite playing the demo...

I'm still buying this day one, but don't know how I feel about the narrative anymore.

As I said before, maybe it get's across better in Japanese, but the english localization and VA is ass. It just tries soooo hard to be DARK and FOREBODING, but in the end just comes off as cheesy and laughably heavyhanded. Both the Book and Narrator phone-in their performances. The former isn't funny or cute, but rather just annoying and the latter sounds completely uninterested.
I can't think of a game in recent memory where it's localization put me off so much.

Also, what's with the framerate being complete ass during mulitplayer?

a) planning to replace it with something else
b) planning to drop it completly

3G has too poor latency to work well with real time online gaming, and as such has poor support in the Vita's catalog. LTE/4G is supposedly much better at it, and could in theory deliver fully fledged multiplayer titles without the user being tied to WiFi.

From your wishlist, I'd be fine if Sony just showed GT6 Vita and nothing else.

The only mention of Vita at E3 will be the doormat that patrons walk over to enter the Nokia Theatre. Sony execs will only take pre-screened questions during Q&As/interviews so Vita will never be mentioned again.

Went into an SS lobby and sacrificed someone who was pretty terrible and died right away. It showed another person as leader, but the mission quickly ended and I was booted.

I enjoyed this way too much.

At E3, I'd expect one or two big first party announcements and one or two big third-party ones. New Bend game from Sony, and maybe Assassin's Creed or Rainbow Six or Ghost Recon from Ubisoft.

Maybe even COD, but with more than just a title this time. I'd just expect a straight downport on MW4 or COD Ghosts or whatever it is.

Unless Sony do a separate Vita focused event the next day (like Nintendo did with 3DS last year I think?), I'd expect things to be very heavily PS4 focused.
