I'm going to make a wild guess right here- Thea's not going to survive the season.

That would give Roy a reason to take the name "Speedy" (and also open up opportunities for Cheshire to show up)

I honestly dont hear the slurs from Thea. Is that some type of in-joke?

It's not as bad as before, but it's there. She kinda speaks like a jazzy female lounge singer would sing; sorta lazy and slurry. It really reminds me of this Cat Power song. Like she doesn't want to use her whole mouth to enunciate.

Anyways, I think I'm done making fun of her speaking. I'll just make fun of her for being a terrible character from now on. But since she's been looking for Arrow with Roy and not doing stupid family drama, she's not that bad.

I agree with whoever said that fight between Ollie and Gunn seemed especially good. There was one particular forward jump that Ollie did which really impressed me.

And speech therapy. Maybe if he and Thea take it together, they can get a discount.
He talks funny because he's English, and apparently his American accent makes him chew his tongue.

Also, I hoped Mr. Blank would stay around longer. He fits with the cast better than Red Hoodie, honestly.

What about that preview for next week's episode huh?
Green arrow totally steals a scene from the raid and slams that thugs head against the wall three times

Yeah, I noticed
The Raid thing.
I wonder if it's an homage or just a rip off. Either way, looks pretty cool.

Oh no we're not gonna become Twihards in here are we? Like #TeamEdward or #TeamJacob? Because if so...I'm in!

#TeamFelicity!

Caught up. Typically fun Arrow episode, although some of the writing was a bit... crummy, such as some of Gunn's lines. On the plus side, the actor really sold the character.

I hope in the season finale Thea kills Felicity.

Just so I can watch all of you freak out.

He was the best part of this episode, even managed to make me forget about Thea segments.

... I miss Angel. :(

That's where I seen him...all episode I was trying to find out where I saw him last,Angel was great...

Good episode and yeah, this was quite violent all of a sudden, compared to the rest of the season so far.

Very entertaining episode, despite some questionable writing. Some of Gunn's lines made me laugh hysterically (and damn, that actor has aged poorly). I like where they're taking Tommy and I'm impressed that they've managed to make the weakest character (at first) perhaps the strongest. Now can they start working on Thea?

I love how Roy became the love of Thea's love in the space of an episode :lol They must be rushing it so her death can mean something. It better be sportsmaster that kills her. The sports family would be amazing in Arrow.

Entertaining episode, annoyed by some things:
Thea's vigilante line to Roy was damnn cheesy
Ollie choosing her rather than his partner
Tommy hating and not truly appreciating what Ollie is doing
Assassin was awesome, short lived.

Watched the latest episode yesterday and damn, that Thea storyline is so awful. It's a shame that dude also continues in season 2. And that assassin was cheesy, in a bad way. Laughably bad.

It's so dumb and overdone. She's the rich chick that tries to save a poor 'bad' boy.
I was referring to the whole Roy has an epiphany that his life can change for the better and he feels like he has a connection with Green Arrow and Thea will help him try to meet him.

Has anyone heard the actress speak in interviews to know if it's really the actress and that is simply how she speaks or if it's done on purpose for the character?

Looped like this, it just seems so amazingly unnecessary when he could have just, you know, moved away like a normal person. It was cool when it happened in the show, though.

In any case, I haven't posted here before, but I really like the show, mostly because I expected it to be absolutely horrible and it was pleasantly surprising. I actually like most of the characters, even when they're totally pointless, and the action is really great.

I watched most of it after watching all of Smallville, and this Oliver is at the very least better than that one.

FINALLY. It came back. I'm dreading the summer break. Not sure I can stand it.

Really good episode. Loved the fight with Mr Blank. Tommy, what the fuck. How fucking wussy can you be. Complete 180 from Mr Self-Respect.

- I like Dig's workout noises. "Huyi! Huyi! Huyi!"
- This dialogue's trying too hard to be witty
- Laurel was a badass for all of two seconds and then her gun jams. And then Ollie breaks in to save the damsel. Come on, writers...
- McSlurry's expression when Roy left was hilarious
- "Stand down. It was just a nerd in a fedora."
- "I'm going to spare you, Diggle, even though it makes zero sense." *punch*
- "Rasmith was skipping town... Amell Pause ...and I had to reprioritize."
- Amell Pause"...Lautem got away."
- "Diggle... Amell Pause ...I made a choice."
- Shado is a super hot Mr. Miyagi
- "No one can see my face." *walks out of the room of a dying man in a building full of cops*
- Detective Chesthair showing Roy and Miss Slur the random dead henchman Ollie killed was really cool; great scene (except at the end when Chesthair sounded like a parody of a 1940s movie character "Get outta heeeeaaaah"; god damn, dude, reign that ridiculous accent in)
- Amell Pause "...you're safe now, Laurel."
- "What a beautiful home." *groooooaaaaan*
- "Hmm. Such pain here. A sense of loss and regret. You can feel it right down to the wood paneling." Motherfucker, what!? That may have been the most absurd and cringeworthy piece of dialogue ever. What in the slurring fuck was that!?
- "I just... Amell Pause ...did what I had to."
- "Amell Pause ...don't do this."

Good episode, besides the faults that somehow make me love the show even more. And now I'm shitfaced because I took a shot of cheap Tequila for every Amell Pause. That was a bad experiment. God damn it. Never again.

I laughed to hard at this. Another season of this, you'll become an alcoholic.

Was anyone else dying when Laurel's shotgun jammed? Trying to do a badass one hand pump reload and the shell gets stuck lmfao. It felt so out of place. Like straight out of an Edgar Wright movie or something. A+ scene, would laugh again.

That shit was too funny.

Guys... Guys... This was an actual piece of dialogue in a TV show:

"Hmm. Such pain here. A sense of loss and regret. You can feel it right down to the wood paneling."

A villain walks into a mansion, looks around for two seconds, and says that to no one in a largely empty room. Someone getting paid a decent salary wrote that. Those lines somehow went through the producers who look over the script. Someone approved that. An actor didn't object and say, "No, sorry, I'm not saying that piece of dogshit. I have too much self respect. Change it." Those lines weren't cut from the episode in editing.

When I heard those lines, I literally started laughing like a madman and rewound it and watched it like four times because I couldn't believe it was an actual thing that existed. I am not joking at all: it was one of the dumbest and nonsensical and cringeworthy pieces of dialogue I've ever heard. It belongs in like The Room or something. Tommy Wiseau should be waddling into a room and saying that shit.

This also was hilarious.

He also posted something regarding that on Facebook:

Pretty wicked. I rewatched The Raid last weekend, such an awesome flick.

Can't wait for the episode Tommy gets amnesia and they're buddies again... OR ARE THEY?
