Roy is my favorite character on the show. Slight bias, since I really like him in both the comics and Young Justice, but I think the writers have done a good job with him in Arrow. I love that they're slowly setting him up to be Oliver's partner.

Yeah, Young Justice really got me into him.
hope it works out.

So Wednesdays episode was fucking great. That hitman for hire was fucking brutal. Him going through all those lengths to make sure the kid was killed was pretty badass. Also I was totally shocked that Tommy realized that Ollie was the only one that could pretty much protect Laurel. Wonder what he's gonna do now though that he decided to cut it off with her. Can only lead to him turning even more evil but thats great for TV. The Island scenes were epic too and the end was tense when Yao Fei showed up with all of Fires men.

edit: Also how the fuck can I forget Roy Harper and Thea are gonna try to unveal who the hood is! That's gonna be crazy. Love how Roy Harper pretty much idolizes the Hood for saving his life and shit now.

Personally i hope he gets shot so thea can wear that spandex hero custom Hnnnnnnnngggg you know for revenge sake.

Dutch angles everywhere.

I bet he gets a mask when he stops being so murdery and every starts calling him the Green Arrow. And it'll prolly look dumb like almost all live action masks do.

This show will drastically decline in quality once the fanboys get their way and we see freaking Wonder Woman and batman cameos and the killing stops and the costumes start popping up

I love the dc cartoons and I am not against a more comic book tone for live action stuff, but it would not fit this particular arrow universe. They set batman begins as their precedent clearly

Exactly.

FINALLY. It came back. I'm dreading the summer break. Not sure I can stand it.

Really good episode. Loved the fight with Mr Blank. Tommy, what the fuck. How fucking wussy can you be. Complete 180 from Mr Self-Respect.

I laughed to hard at this. Another season of this, you'll become an alcoholic.

That shit was too funny.

This also was hilarious.

He also posted something regarding that on Facebook:

Pretty wicked. I rewatched The Raid last weekend, such an awesome flick.

EDIT: I'm so stupid.

That wall thing is from a future episode or something that was cut/edited..? I watched every episode so far and never saw that...

one of the first episodes with Roy

Thea gets mugged, but Roy saves the day sort of when he does a wall flip and gets stabbed

Gunn murdering people was... not quite laughable but it was certainly something. Why would he utter terrible one-liners when it would be more efficient to abandon the theatrics and shut the hell up?

You probably erased it from your mind. I know when I saw it the shot got an immediate mental "wtf" due to how out of place it was.

Roy set it all up. The burglary, the stabbing...everything

He added in the flip to impress Thea with his acrobatics and he had hoped that this entire situation would get him laid

Anyone enjoying the constant Island flashback backstabs?

I'm surprised Slade is still sticking to one side so far.

I actually disliked the last one. It is getting a bit too ridiculous for its own good. They need to give it a purpose before it's too late. Some juicy reveals to keep the suspense going.

Yeah seriously, the last one left me rolling my eyes. Better be some good explanations coming soon.

Better yet: throw everything and the kitchen sink in just a couple of episodes and make the rest of his time at the island a perpetual manhunt, John Rambo style.

I would really like one episode to be completley on the island.

Btw, so far I dont approve of that bow training he received so far. It needs to be more hardcore, just like his current physical training.

Well nobody needs to worry about that.
Even with the Batembargo seemingly over it just won't happen ever, Nightwing is more likely but still a crazy stretch.
Wonder Woman won't happen unless that CW show is set in the Arrow world, and they have a crossover in season 3 or 4.

If you are talking about Deadshot, he is just a C level Batman villain.

he was great in Villains united, he's not really a villain anymore. works for the suicide squad.

Guys... Guys... This was an actual piece of dialogue in a TV show:

"Hmm. Such pain here. A sense of loss and regret. You can feel it right down to the wood paneling."

A villain walks into a mansion, looks around for two seconds, and says that to no one in a largely empty room. Someone getting paid a decent salary wrote that. Those lines somehow went through the producers who look over the script. Someone approved that. An actor didn't object and say, "No, sorry, I'm not saying that piece of dogshit. I have too much self respect. Change it." Those lines weren't cut from the episode in editing.

When I heard those lines, I literally started laughing like a madman and rewound it and watched it like four times because I couldn't believe it was an actual thing that existed. I am not joking at all: it was one of the dumbest and nonsensical and cringeworthy pieces of dialogue I've ever heard. It belongs in like The Room or something. Tommy Wiseau should be waddling into a room and saying that shit.

you take yourself way too serious. go drink.

I actually give a slight pass to Roy because um... he's kinda hot. Thea, not so much. I'll let the straight men defend her. :p

he looks like any other dudebro that can't act.

because all the assassins are theatrical, needs a personality and all that.

Can I speak at your funeral when you've died of alcohol poisoning?

"Hmm. Such pain here. A sense of loss and regret. You can feel it right down to the mahogany casket."

lmao. When I started reading this, someone was telling me how awful they were feeling and I had to struggle to not seem like I was laughing at their misfortune.

I had an Arrow dream last night and did it feature Ollie nude or Ollie and Slade getting it on no, of course not. It featured Thea and Roy UGH

So in the dream Thea was at a restaurant being all down about Roy doing something and as I stared at her from the restaurant window I could tell she wanted to talk to Roy so I take it upon myself to go find him. I walk down the street and I find Roy and he was with some people. They had just come from a strip club from what they were saying. I tell Roy that Thea wants to talk to her and that he may be in some serious trouble. He then hands me his drink and we all go into the restaurant where I sit across from Roy.

I pick up the menu and glance over it and decided I would have the french toast.

End of dream.
