Went HMV @ selfridges oxford st today.

Sonic Racing Transformed 2 on Wii U £7.99

New Art Academy 3DS £4.99

Resident Evil Revelations 3DS £9.99

I've just picked up a 3DS XL and want to get Kid Icarus and the cheapest I can see it is Grainger Games. I recently got a Tyrannosaur on blu ray that was listed as new on the website but it was a rental copy that arrived. Does any trust them for games?

I still haven't used them myself, but every time they're mentioned anywhere someone seems to pop up warning about receiving used games (listed as new) or import copies. It's always made me wary anyway.

DKC3D £23.07 on flubit using shopto's price as a base.
Was going to get it anyway and £26ish was a good price so I'm happy with this.

I'm sure everyone knows but there is no chance of any of you getting that animal crossing 3ds xl from zavvi at the pricing mistake they had. I mean for one it's still marked as sold out, they are just taking their sweet time cancelling all the orders before they put it back up for sale. Has zavvi ever honored a pricing error?

Are Zavvi manually canceling all these orders? Imagine the costs that must be. You'd think stores would avoid making so many price errors if they have to manually cancel all the orders afterwards. Manpower doesn't come cheap.

Speaking of Zavvi and pricing, I threw a 10% code on a PS4 preorder and have one there for £360 at the moment. Despite wondering what the hell I've done preordering a console from Zavvi of all places, if I can get them to either honour that price (lol) or at least knock 10% off whatever price it gets confirmed to be, then it might be worth keeping the preorder.

Zavvi is actually manned by an infinite number of monkeys, using the theory that one of them is bound to get stuff right

With how slowly their handling it i'd say yes. Zavvi does pricing 'errors' so often that i feel it's just for added traffic and getting people to sign up.

What code did you manage to get to work?

I'd pick up Art Academy at that price; I kind of want it but don't want to pay much for it.

Sonic Kart at that price is a steal though.

How long does it normally take for an order from The Hut to arrive?
It can take anything from 3-4 days to 3-4 weeks, usually it's about a week or so (Finland). Sometimes if an order is despatched on monday, it might arrive by Friday, but usually it's the monday or tuesday next week. It doesn't take two weeks for my orders, usually.

Varför hänger du inte i SWE-GAF-tråden i Community!

I'm subscribed to it myself but don't post in it often. The discussions are weird and pointless for the most part. It also seems like it's more of a personal thread where only about five people post, and newcomers don't really have anything to add.

:X

Well, I hope my order will arrive soon.

Just got my first 2 offers from Flubit:

Donkey Kong Country Returns 3D @ £22.94 (down from Shopto's £26.86)

Fire Emblem Awakening @ £27.96 (down from Shopto's £32.86)

Anyone know of a cheaper starting price I can use to bring Fire Emblem down a little further? I wasn't too interested in buying it but I already have Luigi's Mansion so if I buy these 2 I can get a download copy of Animal Crossing for free

Edit: Also, what's the lowest Pikmin 3 price at the moment so I can try that on there as well?

Ordered a copy of RE6 special edition from game for £22.99. Said preowned but they seem to just be ex store display units. Box a little scuffed but everything inside brand new.

I feel incredibly sorry for anyone who paid over £100 for this special edition, it is absolutely nowhere near worth that. I'm okay spending what I did on it, even with it being a pretty poor game.

i got pikmin3 from flubit for 33.92 after quoting http://www.zavvi.com/games-wii-u/pi...tm_medium=affiliate&utm_campaign=AffiliateWin zavvi at £37.98

Wow! Now lets hope that if our orders go through we still get the old price and not this price.

It's an utterly crazy price if they decide to keep it at that level. They'd make more money from all the £120 orders, because no-one's gonna buy it at all at that price when its below £200 everywhere else.

I'm pretty sure they'd be selling them at a loss then.

Someone emailed them at hotukdeals and they said they are currently cancelling all of the orders made with the pricing error, i mean if it wasn't a mistake they would be allowing orders for it right now. They are going to cancel all of the errors before relisting it as back in stock. Selling it for 120 would make them lose a tonne of money, selling even a few at 250 would actually make some profit. Still, i wish they would cancel mine already, the wait is killing me.

I emailed them too, got the standard copy and paste reply but they at least acknowledged that there was a pricing error and the order was cancelled due to the fact:

Hello,

Thank you for getting in touch about Nintendo 3DS XL Special Edition - Includes Animal Crossing: New Leaf.

Unfortunately we have had to cancel this order. This is due to a pricing error on our website. We pride ourselves on having accurate information on our website, but on this occasion there has been an error which has subsequently been amended.

We understand this could be very frustrating for you and apologise for any inconvenience this might have caused.

If a charge has been taken for the order, then a refund will be requested upon cancellation and the money returned to your account within 3-5 working days.

If the item is still of interest to you, it can now be ordered at the correct price on site.

I am very sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused.

If there is anything else that we can do, then please do not hesitate to get in touch and a member of our team will be happy to help.

Kind regards,

I pre-ordered DKCR3D from shoto for 26.86GBP

Just a reminder all 4 games you want qualify for the "buy 3 get another 1 free" promotion.

Check your e-mail, SweGAF. CDON is sending out loads of codes. They just sent me a code for 20% off of every game (doesn't work on hardware and digital games). I'm scanning through their websites in an attempt to find something interesting, as 20% of is quite a lot, but everything is cheaper in the UK lol.

This pretty much sums up my purchasing decisions in the past five years. If it's something I'm not in a hurry to receive, always go UK for vastly cheaper pricing. Shipping 20kg of beverages from UK to Finland is cheaper than buying it locally. I might be going too far with this but... the thread is called Cheap Arse Gaffer.

Hence why I'm asking ;) I only want 2 more games to avail for the free one, and MoF should be cheap by now.
Will tell my brother to get DKCR off shopto tho~
