Skullgirls DLC Character vote | The Campaign united us, The Voting will destroy us

Don't even think that. It's Annie up top or a loss. It's not worth it.

I'm putting Annie on top and changing my own list from before. Gonna keep it to myself too.
 
Assuming Lab Zero gets some proper publisher backing after all this, we'll be seeing even more new characters added down the road, right?

So if your character didn't make it in, don't despair, you'll probably see them again in a few years... maybe.

I really like all those characters. Hard to just choose a single one of them.

I really want to see how Molly changes things with her support assists and supers. Oh well. Maybe in the sequel.

it's too much to expect the casual fanbase to give enough of a fuck to rank 30 characters, we we should rank MAX 10 chars, most players already want 2 or 3 characters and don't care about the rest

It's nice to see Hubrecht get some love from someone. I think he could be potentially amazingly hype to watch in tournament. Like Haggar, but with more rainbows.

Sometimes I feel like the only one who likes Regina. I think she looks nice, classy, and could potentially have a fun playstyle.

Oh really? Holy shit this will be way more interesting. With this change of voting format there are actually way more possibilities than the last vote. This will be considerably more difficult to judge.

Not to mention that if everyone is forced to vote for all characters, the end result will be considerably more difficult to judge.

Yeah, it's a shame looking at it all. So many fighting game females from the classics would have been skipped over, if judgement calls were left to this kind of shallow generalization.

I don't get what that has to do with me drawing? Because I have faith, and I like to stay positive and not talk down on people with what you do. Its not my thing. I'm drawing for my character, and the passion I have for her way before she was a possibility on a character.

Then the passion should still be there :P Draw something of annie fucking some shit up to vent obviously :P Show some more work of how bad ass she can really be and use that to help promote your love of the character.

Don't mind Q. He likes to press buttons and mess around. He doesn't mean anything by it. He'll start looking annoying by the end of this whole thing though. That much I know but just take it in stride.

I have everything I want to draw, its not about venting or showing how badass she is. Its more of what powers she beholds, being shown off. But I just can't draw it out, thats my problem.

Kind of hard, when I feel like I get attacked out of random. I already let out some of my emotion towards Q. That's all that should be shown. I'll leave it be again.
 
Be realistic guys. If the voting base was so pissed that the "team adorable" finals last voting set to the point Paypal feared chargebacks, odds are you're not going to get an easier time getting your character in.

Your best bet is to pick one character, vote in a bloc, and pray that everyone else isn't voting for one guy (good luck because that's happening just to spite "team adorable.")

Yeah, he's/she's right.

Let's use an example: in an alternative reality whereby there's 4 finalists which are Annie, Aeon, Beowulf and Minette. Let's say the proportions of #1 votes are as follows:

Annie 24%
Aeon 14%
Beowulf 35%
Minette 22%

Beowulf wins? Nope, he hasn't got a majority, so instead we'll eliminate Aeon from the proceedings. Now, we look at the #2 votes of Aeon voters and redistribute their votes likewise. Let's say precisely 50% of Aeon voters voted Annie #2, and the other 50% voted for Minette as #2. The scores are now:

Annie 31%
Beowulf 35%
Minette 29%

Beowulf still wins? Nope, he still hasn't got the majority, so we knock out Minette instead. Let's say that of that 29%, three quarters voted for Annie next*, and 25% voted for Beowulf next. (*by which I mean, they are #3 for Aeon voters and #2 for Minette voters [unless they put Aeon as #2, in which case we'll skip to their #3 votes]) The scores are now:

Annie 52.75%
Beowulf 42.25%

Annie hits the magic 50% mark and wins the entire shooting match. The benefits is that 52.75% voted for Annie at some point on their ballot, so more people are happier with the final result (in theory, at least...)

[Edit] I should also note that I am assuming that the 50% = win rule won't apply until the third and final round, but the redistribution of votes can push characters out of the danger zone, and so can have different eliminations than straight up first post the post (even with four equally weighted votes).
 
Does anyone know the latest info on Annie. I kind of forgot. ^^? I just remember quasars and mini suns. I know for sure, that i'm going to give the sun the angriest face I Can Do. :P
