Posting link for new page incase anyone has a load of money

Help Kass and his site afford a Vita capture kit so they can do Vita/PSM game footage and stuff

http://www.psnstores.com/2013/04/can-you-help-get-us-a-vita-capture-device/

@yosp should really help with this

EDIT: will donate!

Top of Page Recommendation
(1) Donate to PSNStores so they can get a capture kit to do Vita/PSM Coverage :D
(2) GET Soul Sacrifice
(3) GET Guacamelee
(4) Know of any sweet indie games, tweet @shahidkamal and let him know about it!

Haven't been looking at this thread in a while -- does anyone know if May's PS+ Vita offers are good, or at least hinted to be good? April's was lackluster, I think only Soul Calibur was for Vita. I really hope Little Big Planet will come to IGC someday.

Germinator and Pinball Arcade are confirmed so far.

I'm still so torn guys. I really need to stop being so goddamn indecisive and play one of my games .. I think the problem is that there is just too many Vita games for me to play :( All those other threads with people preaching "Vita Haz No Gamez" up and down but..... are they playing the same Vita that I'm (lots of others too) playing?

Hmm I was hoping for a retail game, but at least it's not a PSP game.

I have PS+ for Vita, but I barely have any time to play games. When I do, my 3DS is grabbing all of my attention with Fire Emblem and Luigi's Mansion.

Aside from the PS+ free games, I really don't have any plans buying retail games other than FFX/X-2. Everything else is for 3DS/Wii U. So Sony should announce many good games during E3.

Maybe they're giving this year to Killzone, doubt they'd let go of Vita forever, they did well without even trying.

Who knows, might still show up later on this yl.
The thing is, unless they port down an existing game, I don't see them having yearly releases for the vita. They don't have two teams working on a handheld spinoff like they do on the hd consoles.

Sucks but I can understand that - and not wanting to use the same engine again. Might be a while then, doubt the Vita would be able to do straight down-ports...or maybe with separate mp and sp - but it wouldn't really suit the Vita anyway - needs it's own features and bot mode etc.

Different tastes I guess? I'm pretty much devouring everything, racers, shooters, platformers, whatever. My backlog is as follows:

Wipeout 2048
NFS: Most Wanted
Rayman Origins
Lumines Electronic Symphony
Uncharted Golden Abyss
Army Corps of Hell
DJMAX Technika Tune
Ragnarok Odyssey
Little Deviants
Persona 4 Golden
LBP Vita
Dungeon Hunter Alliance
PSABR
Hots Shots Golf World Invitational
Ninja Gaiden Sigma +
Disgaea 3 Abscence of Detention
Blazblue Continuum Shift Extend
Retro City Rampage
Sine Mora
Knytt Underground
Dokuro
Big Sky Infinity

All of those games have yet to be beaten, or have their main modes completed. I know, I know... it's stupid how I just keep getting games :\ I have Soul Sacrifice on the way now and I have lots of other games I want to get... I also need to redownload Strangers Wrath. I won't even bother listing my PSP/PS1 list because I have a stupid amount of those to play through as well.

I know the feeling. I have papers to write but everytime I go to write something my hands slowly drift towards the sweet release of handheld gaming.

My girlfriend scolded me for playing Soul Sacrifice while she proofread my papers :p

Edit: really wished Sony patched Modnation, that game was way more fun than what I played of Sonic's Transformed. Modnation was really really good until the frame rate at the end started to piss me off too much.

When I first tried Soul Sacrifice demo out, I was pretty confused by the gameplay and didn't get it. Yesterday played some more and finally started to get a hang of it and enjoyed it a lot, so I preordered the game to get the JP language pack. Decided to even pay it in advance so I wouldn't be second guessing myself and cancelling it in the last second.

I really hope the Soul Sacrifice preorder bonuses are available to PSN purchasers in the US? Other wise I'll have pickup my Gamestop reservation for the preorder codes, then return the game the next day for PSN codes.

Oh, then no. Because it's AR which sucks just as bad as waggle.

Get Hot Shots Golf instead.

already got hot shots.

that mini golf game is ar but it only uses one card. it's not like pulzar where the game is overlaid on top of the real environment. was just curious about how good of a mini golf game it is

Then get it? it's only $2, I've been eyeing it too since I'm a sucker for AR but I already have too much of a backlog as is.

Why are so many people suddenly trying to buy Vita capture kits? O.o

So that they can make proper gameplay videos instead of using an over the shoulder camera? People who just want to play games need not apply. It is for people who wants to make video content using the Vita.

But why now? Those capture kits have been out for months now IIRC.

I'm with cha, outside PS+ freebies I have DJMax to start and next week Soul Sacrifice and being a multiplatform gamer with an even bigger backlog on consoles, I have to say I have overabundance of games to play.

Way do the "trophy pickups" looks like in "Thomas Was Alone"? I haven't found any of then yet and I just made it to the four stage, Associations.

They are really difficult to see until you know what your looking for. They are just tiny black squares no more than a few pixels tall/wide. Replay Stage 1.3 I think(where you just run to the right as the ground behind you crumbles) and go left instead, hovering just above the water is the first pick up is. Not to many of them are in obscure places (bar the last two perhaps) so once you know what to look for you'll be able to get them with few problems.

Soul Sacrifice is probably the game (for me) that is the hardest to review in a LONG time. The game is so big and has so many different mechanics in it, that I have a REALLY hard time keeping the review short and to the point... it just feels wrong to write to little about it.

The thing is Vita's fighting game market is pretty saturated. Toss in Soul Calibur, Tekken, KOF, etc. and you'll have every major brand represented.

Yeah that's true, as a casual fan of fighting games I'm pretty satisfied with having just one, MK thanks to plus. The problem here, I guess, is that the fighter fanbase isn't broad enough to have so many fighting games released so close to each other.

Don't worry - at least you are playing it unlike a certain polish portal who saw things like 60 fps in game ;)
