Vita PSN Game & Service Thread | April 2013 | Sacrifice your Independent Soul

I got one of those in my email today, was actually thinking of posting it up for grabs, given that I don't think I'll be getting Soul Sacrifice for a while. If anyone can tell me how to post it so that it's hidden from lurkers, I'll go ahead and do so.

Like so. This is apparently for Spirits' Falconfeather(or at least so the email says), so enjoy...whoever gets it :)

Edit: Hmm, it keeps showing up normally even when put inside email tags...
 
Aaah...I figured it might be something like that, although since the previous poster simply showed [/email tags, I tried to follow that rigidly...anyways, second try here...

Whoops, never used it myself.

[x=]y[/x] seems to be how all inputs work that display something else, URL probably being the most common.

Although in hind sight, I suppose you don't actually have to use the email tag. URL also seems to work. Case in point...
[url=555-FAKE-CODE][/url]

(fake code displayed upon quote).
In fact, it almost seems like url would be a safer one to use since the email tag is almost certainly -only- used for code sharing. Not that I know anything.

Went to GameStop to pick up my preorder, they didn't have it. The store didnt get enough copies for the preorder. They only got 5 and I was one of three that didnt get it.


Wow.

Sometimes I just want to see Sony burn /irrational hatred. They don't ship out enough copies but they also don't advertise the digital bonus they have this week. There's a reason they're losing this fucking handheld to Nintendo.

Looks like I got a code. I didn't look at the email because I thought it was just telling me that I'd get the preorder dlc if I purchased SS digitally.

i'd agree with you if nintendo didn't do the same thing with 3ds releases. it's absolutely insane how badly they under-ship. both should be called out on this though. it's so frustrating.
 
I did it vitamuffins.

i joined the 32gb card ranks....upgrading from a 4gb which i got with my black friday deal...

oh lawdy! I can fit all my games and buy some now!

got it for 60$ from a dude off craigslist....and now he's my forever friend because he said he can get me videogames and other electronics ( he mentioned ps4, but i call bs) for cheap or before street dates as well.

His name was Art.

The fact that your GameStop didn't order enough copies to even cover their preorders is in no way Sony's fault.

It lives! Good point though - aren't all Vita games meant to be on PSN? I thought it was actually mandatory, but I must've gotten confused.

yeah, the store near me had a a bunch of copies of the game, though my gamestop seems to be a pretty good store for Vita. Only physical Vite game i own though is LBP, so I really only buy PS cards from them

Nintendo is also guilty of this though. Fire Emblem Awakening was completely impossible to find at retail for the first 2 months.

I think the message from both companies is clear: they want us to buy digital because it makes them tons more profit due to near zero overhead, they only keep retail alive so they don't completely lose their retail visibility for the hardware.

Get Sonic racing its amazing, best kart racer i have played. I was hoping for the day for a game to even get close to mk64 and sonic racing does that and is actually better.
 
i checked the OP but didnt see it, is there anything special i need to do to use my new memory card and transfer everything?

i just copied everythign to my PC via content manager....now do i just put in the new mem card and use content manager to copy everything back on?

The usual stuff, where a game hovering at 70%+ on metacritic is seen as bad.
Not talking about the guy you quoted, but yeah seen quite a few 'Booh for some reason I now feel like my purchase has been invalidated because someone's opinion of the game does not warrant a 9/10"

There's a Backup feature in Content Manager. Personally I'd recommend using that if you want to be 100% sure that everything is transferred. (ie. backup old card, insert new card and restore backup)

I just finished Thomas Was Alone. Short, but great. Gonna play a second time on PS3 with the developer's commentary.

I can't access the DLC, though. Is it under scenario select? Maybe I'll try re-downloading it..

EDIT: Ah, silly me. Found it.
 
Anyone have the problem with the store freezing up when buying something? Every time I grab something from the store I have to power off/on because it always freezes up at the download part. I normally wouldnt bitch about something, but it happens EVERY TIME I use buy something and it prepares to download it.
