I've been getting the PS Store freezing when starting downloads. Hopefully rebooting doesn't mess anything up especially with other downloads going.
I also experienced the download pause issue (oddly after I plugged it in). Came back from watching Game of Thrones expecting to be able to play games :/

Sega puts out PoS 3DS Sonic port on Vita. Instead of blaming themselves, they blame Vita and the fans and you NEVER see another Sega game on Vita period.
So again I say, dodged a bullet.

Sonic All-Stars Racing Transformed is not a 3DS port, and we are going to see more games from SEGA, just probably not outside of Japan.
It actually runs pretty good in the full game. I think it was patched.
Thats good, at least we still have hope and you want to see that continue. If they did do a port of the real Sonic game though do you think they are porting the 3DS version that they have a separate team dedicated to or the HD twins version?

same here. i think others get it too. people believe it's from the recent FW update.
Happened to me when attempting to download Zombie Tycoon 2. Forced to reboot and I was able to start download off the download list.

What's the general consensus on PSABR? Torn between that and LBPVita to get with the credit.
My understanding is that they're still sending them out. They're just being slow about it; having to check the referrals and whatnot.

Has anyone else been having issues with the PS Store lately? I go to download a game - I click download, the download starts, then it hangs forever. I cancel it, and it just hangs forever. I literally have to do a force shut down with my Vita. This still counts as a legitimate shut down though, as I don't have issues on the reboot. Wtf is going on? How is this broken now?
Sega's game does lag a little but even on consoles apparently. Otherwise it's a great game on Vita, easy recommendation and definitely not a POS - and I was one of the first to be upset about the fps hah. It's still very good. You should have seen the 3DS version...framerate was the least of their worries iirc - random bugs like doors not opening so people just get stuck and can't finish their tracks, that is ridiculous. Sonic barely has any bugs, nothing major either.
I wish we get some more sonic, but platforming soon. 3D..generations or even the ultimate collection (complete). What's the holdup..
She's pretty awesome - speedy, lots of combos, mediocre level 1 and 2 but great level 3 super. Check out some youtube videos but I'd say she's worth it, as are Isaac and Zeus for sure (bundle with the stage, it's decent if you play offline at all). I find Emmett fun too but not sure I'd recommend him at that price - some great moves and interesting gameplay but he's quite slow upclose. Got to zone well, so not good for a FFA but can be great in a 2v2.
PSASBR vs LBP
Too hard to choose for me. If you don't enjoy MP with PSASBR then definitely LBP. Otherwise...both really. LBP is topnotch though, it's just PSASBR's mp can be really fun, got a lot of hours out of it. I'd never sell LBP though, great game and the downloadable levels are pretty great too. Tighter controls with awesome levels in sp and mp makes for some awesome platforming. They also improved the downloading so everything is much faster than it was at launch - AND you can download levels to play offline. Like Sound Shapes recently added. Online co-op can be laggy at times with many people and depending on what map but I've had good games too. Haven't played it in a while though, not sure how active it is but I bet it's alright.

I had it with Firmware 2.10, but then it seemed to disappear with 2.11, but I've only downloaded once game since then. So maybe I just got lucky.

You're not alone. The vast majority of Vita owners are having issues with downloads from the Vita store.

Glad it's not me but WTF this is SO DUMB. If they would update the store earlier and give me a chance to DL it on my break at work before all the kiddos got home..... SIGHHH this is so dumb. It keeps hanging, I literally can't download anything. I really wanted to play Zombie Tycoon II, too.

Great I got Zombie Tycoon to finally download and then I went to finally download Tekken 6 and it's hanging/locking up again. ARGRHGR why is this still happening???? I've had to reboot my Vita like 4-5 times.
I think Takao posts somewhat harshly hoping someone (maybe more official) will see it and want to correct it somehow. It's the only explanation unless he enjoys pain.
How dissimilar from SSB is PSABR anyways? Is there a way to turn off that "ultimates only kill" thing, or is that ingrained in the game? How many options for the MP are given?
Leaning towards PSABR at the moment, mostly due to the fact that you get an extra copy for PS3 as well.
There was an older rumour saying sonic is coming to vita. Now, there is a separate, but newer rumour, that sonic will not come to the vita. That's it.
New Sonic game was originally rumored for Vita and every other platform. Today's rumor leaves out Vita.

It's done it to me twice now, but I believe it was because I didn't have enough space on my memory stick. Kind of odd that I didn't get an error message or anything, but you could try checking that.
Are you running anything else in the background? Mine hanged once, but my downloads all whet smoothly after the reboot . But post reboot, I no longer had a game running in the background.

Well I have a 32GB card, definitely have plenty of room for it. It's just their POS servers not being able to handle the bigger influx of traffic, IMO.
Naw I had nothing running in the BG. Not sure why, other than it being their servers. This was purely the store hanging, I could still power it down fine and it seemed to be running fine, the store was just locking the whole damn system up :\
Also that Sonic rumor better be true in that it's coming and that it's coming to Vita. Sega will lose TONS of cred for me if they abandon the Vita. A true, native Sonic platformer has to be made for Vita .. imagine if Sonic Generations was on Vita, or something similar? I'd lose it.
There's some doubt if today's rumors are coming from the same guy who gave out legit info in the past. Sonic fans are so crazy that I can see one of them writing a wall of text.

People play a decent mix online usually but there some characters like kratos, raiden, coles are a bit too deadly in capable hands compared to some of the other characters which require even more skill.
Online ranked mode (has a belt leveling system that may or may not work lol - separate to individual character levels which unlock stuff) - is only FFA. ie 1v1v1v1. Bit chaotic but can be fun.
In unranked you can do FFA or 2v2 and it has some custom options like types of weapons, stock lives/max kills/timed.
Voice chat supported with the Vita mic (cross-play between both) and it's great on both PS3 and Vita. Minus the crashes finally killing my PS3's laser, which may or may not be PSASBR's fault.

I already got the game from Amazon, just missing the preorder bonuses. Haven't redeemed the online code either. i prefer digital for this since, its a great pick up and play (10 min here and there) game. Decisions..

So I bought $70 in PSN codes today. After purchasing SS and LBPv, I'm left with $16.52. Not sure what I want to do with. I'm leaning towards Jeanne D'Arc. Or maybe a few PSone games like Wild Arms 2, or Arc the Lad I & II.
