New ep tonight

I might throw up on you.

So who agrees with me that Moira is a goner in the finale? It's called Sacrifice, Ollie knows about her working with Merlin, he's gonna have to stop the machine thing. It all adds up.

That's what I've been thinking. Somebody's gonna die and she seems to be the most likely.

That would be kind of crazy and I think it would be a long term mistake. They could squeeze out a lot of drama from both of them laying all of their secrets on the table. They shouldn't kill her off so soon.

Is this the first time that they've name dropped an actual DC character?

Moira mentions a Ted Kord fundraiser.

Awesome episode, would have liked more island stuff but I get the reasoning for having different flashbacks. I'm guessing (hoping) that the finale will have Roy teaming up / introducing himself to Ollie, and S2 having a timeskip to where he's trained and ready to be his sidekick.

Uh...apart from having actual DC characters in previous episodes like Deadshot, China White, Shado, Deathstroke, The Royal Flush Gang, The Huntress, Count Vertigo, etc.?

They referenced Flash/central city a few episodes ago with a similar off-hand comment.

LOL @ Ollie using that same head smash move on the last goon in the hallway from The Raid. They even broke the light bulb and used the same camera angle.

Also, him going Terminator on the guards in the casino = So good. More of that, please.

My deadpool as of last week was:

- Walter
- Malcolm
- Diggle
- Moira
- Thea

Now, I'm reducing it to:

- Malcolm
- Moira
- Thea

I think Thea could die, giving Roy a reason to take the "Speedy" name.
Malcolm, obviously to pass the torch to Tommy.

I feel much better about Moira selling out Chen knowing that he was the one who placed the bomb on the Queen's Gambit.

- Bulletproof suitcase; the fuuuck?
- That bribe story as his motivation for leveling The Glades makes zero sense, but sure whatever
- oh shit, busted that motherfucker right through the door; oh shit, threw glass in that dude's face
- Why would Malcolm need to buy land he wants to... nevermind
- Arrow: The Raid
- Flashback, CW Musicc; clean shaven Ollie is wweeerd
- Ollie hasn't regrown his stubble from years ago, poor guy
- The show didn't forget about Walter!!!

alright ep; hope the last two aere better

prediction for the last epies: same as I said way earlier in the season; Malconm kills Moira, Ollie kills Malcomn, thus Tommy wants to kill Ollie

Ollie's dad kind of debunks that later in the episode when he brings up the evidence that Malcolm has been working towards it for at least 6 months (I believe), which would mean that sappy story he told in the earlier meeting was bullshit. So yeah, we still don't really know what Merlyn's motive is.

Those are all villains, didn't notice the flash comment though. Reason I brought it up was, if Ted Kord exists, does that mean that there are other heroes that will be brought in, or will it (hopefully) remain a self contained universe?

the dead dude bribe story was Ollie's dad's (whatever his name is) reason for agreeing to the plan, not Merlyn's. He tearfully told Moira about it. I kinda already forgot what he said. "I had to bribe a dude, and he died accidentally, I didn't want to hurt him, therefore I want to level the glades." Huh!?

Some dude from the glades wanted a bribe, the dad says he's never bribed anyone, glade's guy gets angry and falls(?) to death. I think that's what Malcolm was talking about when he said that the glades took Ollie's dad's soul, as it made him kill.

Huntress isn't a villain, the show runners decided to make her one.
but hey its not too much worse than what DC did to Helena anyway.

What did DC do to Helena?

That makes more sense. Still pretty dumb thoughh.

Ollie looked HAWT tonight. I don't know what it was about him but I want to knock his arrow reaaaal hard.

The Huntress is not really a villain, though she has been used as an antagonist in the show thus far.

I think though they have proven they aren't shying away from using other DC characters. Whether that means more heroes down the line, guess we'll see. With them mentioning/going to (including tonight) Bludhaven all the time I have to imagine a Nightwing cameo or greater presence is not impossible, for example. I suspect they will keep "other heroes" to a minimum though, at least until the show really starts to run out of things for Ollie to do on his (relative, plus maybe Red Arrow) own (ie, maybe in 3 or 4 seasons).
