I'd have to agree, in the middle of the big Sony vs Microsoft wars it was always nice to have Nintendo on the side doing their own thing with their crazy and weird conferences.

I haven't touched my xbox in years, but last time I was on it you didn't have to make an Avatar...and I know you don't have to sign up for HOme...completely ignorable for people that don't prefer it.

I'm not that much concerned about myself, I basically live in an american time zone, seeing my night rhythm, but that doesn't change the fact that it's inconvenient for everyone else. 2-3 hours earlier or later would have at least made for one or the other time zone better.
I agree. This screws Europeans. Not very smart since they're likely to announce the price for Japan/North America/Europe at this conference.
Oh well. I'll stay up for it.

Even the February conference was 3 hours (?) so don't expect anything shorter than 2 hours from this. Lots of fillers to be expected.
Not that I'm aware of, but seeing their recent and past conferences it should be 1 to 2 hours max.
edit: their last was 2 hours afair.
Believe the Feb conference was 2 hours, I stayed up for that one. Think it finished around 3 UK time or something though?

This would work really well with a couple changes.
Jeez, you make it sound like time zones are just black and white. Parts of Asia, Japan, Australia and NZ are able to watch it in the morning. Alright, Europe's probably a bigger market but at least they still get their own conference people give a shit about.

And yeah EU has their own conference where Sony actually has a real presence.
I mean yeah it sucks for those who'd want to see the reactions in real time at GAF ect but you can do what some people do and just watch a recording of the stream via a spoiler free thread.

Booked the Tuesday off. 4 pressers in a day, hopefully the Sony one will be all worth it. Impress me with inFAMOUS gameplay (Killzone and Drive Club are not really my thing), show The Last Guardian and hopefully give me my first taste of the new Santa Monica and Naughty Dog projects.

Home supposedly is quite profitable for them so it probably will appear on PS4. I have like no idea how many people even use it and I don't even know anyone who does but I guess some people just REALLY like to buy new home stuff.

Yeah I know it's profitable and it has a loyal core following, but in terms of what it was supposed to be I don't think it's been that successful. I mean in terms of a social hub for PS users. Most people took a look around, did some goofy dancing and never went back. No-one at Sony talks about it anymore. There was no mention of it at the PS4 event afaik.
