Scratches, Shadowgrounds and Grotesque Tactics get my votes. Best one is definitely scratches, the others are a bit standard.

Crash Time 2 is a mission based racer not unlike Wreckless (Xbox/Ps3) and it has a race editor. You can also race 18 wheelers in the game. The environments are well realized and purdy.

Tank Universal IIRC was made by one guy and reminded me alot of Tron.

I've bought StoryBundle bundles in the past, and since it is a video game related bundle as opposed to the previous ones which dealt with mainly genre fiction (and even Constellation Games is fiction, albeit video game themed fiction), I think it's on topic to for me to discuss it. What they generally sell is DRM-Free EPUBs and Kindle files, not PDFs like the Humble ebook Bundle offered... Also apparently for this particular bundle they've upped the minimum price to $3 when previously it had been $1. In addition there's no account system, which annoys me.

Man, I think I'll end owning the entire Meridian 4 catalog thanks to indie bundles... But hey, at least I finally got Scratches, and for a measly dollar!

By the way, the next unlock is Post Mortem. Vigil looks interesting enough, too.

EDIT:

By the way, quote to see a Grotesque Tactics 2 key. I wouldn't say it's a great game, but I enjoyed it!

Someone took it, only game I wanted from the bundle :(

I bought the bundle for Scratches (just $1 but I backed the dev's kickstarter campaign so I don't feel bad about it) and I don't think I'll ever have time to even try other games, so if anyone's interested just tell me - have keys for Grotesque Tactics 1, GT2, RIP and Vigil.

I will not give out the key for Post Mortem though.

I'm interested in Grotesque Tactics 1

edit: THANKS!

Bleed is the current deal @ www.indiegamestand.com

Buy this people! It's an amazing throwback to 16-bit shooters, with dual analog shooting, super fast movement and a badass(slow motion)-button
Agreed! If you don't have this already, grab it up if you like shooting and dodging things from all directions and being awesome.

Yep, here the link : Humble Double Fine Bundle

Pay what you want for :

Costume Quest
Psychonauts
Stacking
+ the 2 Soundtracks of Psychonauts

Pay more than 8,28$ to get Brütal Legend + his amazing soundtrack!
Pay more than 35$ to get Broken Age AKA: The Double Fine Adventure Kickstarter With the Documentation (In my opinion, just the documentary is worth 30$, it's so well made)

Pay 70$ or more to get a T-shirt.

I assume, all the money they will make with the bundle will be use for Broken Age since they need a bit more money since their game is bigger than they anticipated and they won't have to cut content.

EDIT: + their video presentation is hilarious, and contain some inside-joke with the Backer who watch the documentary ahah

This is a very odd statement. The development of a game is an investment you can recoup when the game is on sale. It seems like they want to make a profit even before the game is released. I'm really curious to see how this impacts the quality of the game, since they're not risking anything at all. I'm jealous, I would love to be in their shoes right now :D

I may be completely wrong here but I think the reason they need the money before selling the game is because they aren't using a publisher and so to cover the development cost they need to spend their own cash (backer cash and revenue from other games) but once it is released they will surely make money back also.

They don't want to make a profit, they are basically out of money. It's been talked about in the documentary episodes.

"already" is a very interesting concept.

Paying the salary of an entire development team for this long is not cheap.

The documentaries are really clear about that problem.

I haven't watched the documentaries, but they initially wanted 400k to make the game and got 3 million. And now they need even more cash? How was this supposed to work out with 400k?

Those 3 million came with stretch goals, which probably increased the scope of the game significantly.

Sure, they wanted more money to extend the game and that is what the strechgoals were for and they got the money to do so. But did they expand the game even more now, because they want more money or were their calculations just completely off? Like I said, I haven't watched the documentaries.

400k was to make a game like Middle Manager of Justice. They didn't think they would get this much money.

Once they got this much money, they expanded the game into a full production game. Thing is, they just can't call the publisher and say "we need more money". So they do things like this.

I don't remember which episode this was mentioned, but Costume Quest cost more than 3 million dollars. And that's a short simple game.

Basically, game development happened. It's always like that. They make a plan, things have to be remade, things take longer than expected. When things take longer, salaries have to be paid for more than they planned for. Power and Water to the company building have to be paid as well. Extra people have to be paid.

Gaming development is a mess. The documentaries are really eye opening in that regard.

Thanks for your answer! Maybe I should give those documentaries a try, they seem to be very insightful.

Episode 7 is mostly budget related. But I think it's important to watch them all, as you get a feeling of how the process happens, how the team gets bigger or smaller and why it does.

I really like the documentary. Some people complained that it's too good regarding Double Fine as a company, and that the documentary should show how game development is and that it sounds more like a Double Fine love letter.

I think it's both and I don't think that those things go against each other. I really like'em.
