I still think Kojima would do some nutty 4th wall breaking stuff in game with a Kinect

MS Research is an that organization loves to show off their prototypes. They are great ideas, but until you see if from an actual product group, then its like a TED talk, its just ideas and demoes.

IllumiRoom was weird though, they made that whole "commercial" and it turned out pretty appealing already.

It wasn't a bad Crackdown game at all, it was quite fun. It was just not enough new things.
I think it was bad because the core of the combat was worsened by the lifeless, AI-less, zombie enemies. Every encounter was the same, Crackdown 1 had some variety and a lot more pressure situations.

The next Crackdown game needs to rethink it's combat and enemy types IMO. More enemies that have good platforming abilities, and make use of environments better. I've always looked as Crackdown as a series with a TON of potential with solid core mechanics that's just been unrealized at the moment. There's so much that you can do. Have every car transformable, have more varied enemy types, more supercop side missions, etc.

Kinect 2 related?

Looks like that's been designed more for close-up PC usage (with the finger pointing accuracy), than what Kinect 2's design will carry for the living room. No way Kinect 2 will support accurate finger pointing tech from 6+ feet away on a couch.

EDIT: Monty on the Run needs to be Only on Xbox'd :)

Crackdown 2's solution for more content was spamming zombies all over the place. It was awful and was completely at odds with what made Crackdown 1 so great. Most disappointing squeal this generation.
