It's really odd how quiet they've been about this whole thing. No teasers, barely any hyping up from employees, no dev teases. I want some info, dammit.

I'm thinking this as well. It just doesn't seem like Microsoft's usual style with Xbox stuff. They normally go bombastic for that. I can see them changing that approach if they want to place Durango as a key part of the Windows 8 ecosystem.

I think MS believes hype leads to disappointment.
Some of the stuff Aaron Greenberg and Phil Spencer have said on Twitter leads me to believe they are being deliberately quiet.

I was already in the grey I owned a 360 before buying a PS3, Gears of War 1 was my favorite game this gen and I always buy 2 consoles. I'll likely end up with a PS4 and Durango since the Wii U bomba.

Last generation, I found that owning both PS3 and 360 felt largely redundant. This time, I'm almost certainly going PS4 this year, WiiU next year, next XBOX a few years down the road. I'm still very excited to see what they are doing. I have a feeling they'll have some very interesting additions to the XBOX Live service beyond what Sony's got planned.
