Dutch and Danish are really funny to listen to. :)

The Dutch Bert is genious, also his real life counterpart.

As a Dutch guy myself I hate dubbing with a passion. When I was young most of the cartoons were subtitled, but now with the influx of a lot of Japanese garbage almost every cartoon is dubbed in Dutch. It's atrocious. Especially last-gen when we had to wait AAAAGGGES for translated videogames because other European countries needed their own language implemented either via text, VO or both.

I learned English at a young age by watching cartoons with subtitles. And Bassie & Adriaan ofcourse lol.

Amen to that. Totally agree. And Telekids4life :)

Hows everyone going to consume this fantastic unveiling?

I'll be on Skype with a few mates and streaming Giant Bombs coverage, maybe have it playing on the Xbox too.

Watch it on TV via stream, join GAF meltdown discussions afterwards, then watch aftershow etc.

I'll watch it on XBL first, then watch the GB coverage after. Don't want people talking over it the first time I watch.

Have it on in the background when I'm programming...I don't expect anything too outrageous to be said at this event.

Is it going to be on the internet anywhere live? Or are the choices spike on cable or xbox stream?

will come home from work and will watch later at night it with either of these setups

stream it to my TV, gaf/other forums on my laptop, alt. stream on my ipad

foods:
1. couple of glasses of wine, some cheeses and biscuits

2. peanuts with gin and tonic

3. humous, haloumi, carrots and cornichones with bread. and rum and cola

4. see it in the morning while eating long breakfast

You can always rely on Geoff Keighly to ask the best questions at events like this. I'll be watching his interviews after the show, he's bound to get more info revealed somehow.

I've booked the day off work to get the stuff in. My best friend is driving up to watch with and play some games. We shall eat unhealthily, drink unhealthily and stay up late soaking in all the coverage whilst playing games.

May use the gametrailers app as it was good with Sony Conf, or of course live player. Failing them there will be back up laptop with HDMI for the tv.

Really looking forward to it.

Whaha never thought I'd find another Hilversummer on GAF.

On topic: I wonder how much Smartglass is featured during the show or if they'll leave that stuff for E3.

(I live now in Utrecht but my parents still live there, so am there regularly :))

I think they'll show a lot of eco system things, show some key (game) experiences like CoD and what the new system means for titles like that.

i agree with u ....we should learn how to watch movies with their original language
also if i must admitt that here in italy you can switch between italian/original language just hitting a button on the remote.

but i think (coz we do this from 1930) we r pretty good at this here a famous final speech scene

http://youtu.be/6qIgVrOy9vM
(original)

http://youtu.be/UQF2yb3m634
(italian)

anyway coming back on topic...this is the main reason because netflix isnt in every country....or they dubs...or ms need to do something else!

The first thing we will see is the call of duty trailer with the new logo art at the end, followed by don mattrick talking xbox brand, then bring out whoever presents the hardware and show the box + controller. After that we get services and whatnot, followed by phil spencer presenting one or two more games / demos. > Kinect 2.0

F that.

It should open with Don walking on stage and immediately pulling off a sheet from the console.

No point dilly-dallying.

I will definitely indulge for such an monumental occasion.

cheesy chips + tuna, sweetcorn+onion Chicago style pizza+ tomato and red onion salad+ balsamic vinaigrette, everything home made(apart from the chips which are good quality frozen ones and I will roast them in olive oil for that fatty deep fried flavor), and to drink fruit juice and water and maybe a beer (English blonde ale, mmmm)

will watch on my 40''tv with gaf on phone

I'm glad it's a small tent. I don't trust MS with big stages. if they see one, they act like teenagers (ridiculous side shows). Focus on content, vision and delivery system.

I remember an E3 conference where Matterick came on stage and said no statistics here's the games. The guy clearly knows what people want at events like this.

I'll be streaming from Xbox LIVE player. I saw the awards few months ago and the quality was really good and never broke up, then will prob check out GT or IGN's post show coverage.

Oh and GAF meltdowns too ;)

I'll be watching it on my HDTV through the Xbox live player.

That will leave my laptop open for the various forums I'll be on. I fully expect Gaf to crash hard during the event especially if megatons are laid down by MS.

-Don Mattrick welcomes us to the reveal of "New generation is about to be revealed"
-Montage plays of the history of entertainment, starting with Charlie Chaplin footage ending in Xbox 720 name reveal.

What I don't expect:

  • Kinect at this event
  • Talk of whether its online/offline required. Just vague "We are letting publishers decide"
